Nice hotel, but room VERY musty smell.

Posted 26-Sep-2016
Pros: Nice facilities/amenities in the lobby and nice personnel.
Cons: Maintenance
The room smell was overpowering when you walk in. The shower door leaked, which flooded the bathroom floor and then ran into the carpet of the room. This is obvious, but they have not fixed it.

Our stay in boston

Posted 26-Sep-2016
Pros: The staff and the quality of the meals
Cons: Cleanliness
Location: About out of town but location lovely overlooking the Charles river.
Very disappointed with quality of hotel and on vacating we left the. Anger with a list of items that needed attention especially in the room which had mould in the shower, a dirty shower floor, dirty pillows, stains on light fittings, dust in cupboards, old and lumpy pillows, etc. the worst thing however was that a personal item was taken from our room and we had to leave with promises it would be located and returned to us, but we are ambivalent about this

It's a few little things that are annoying

Posted 13-Sep-2016
I'm sorry, I'll start off with the negatives, 1. Why not separate cups in the bathroom. Had to use drinking glasses. 2. Why can't there be an ice machine on each floor? 3. Cost of some amenities-19.00 for a PPV movie! 4. Where was the concierge? The positives 1. Bed was awesome! 2. WiFi was quite adequate, fast and reliable. 3. Hotel staff was super. Folks at front desk never steered me wrong for meal recommendations 4. Very nice hotel, overall. One thing, had I known it was far from everything, I might have chosen a hotel in a different locale.

This hotel's design is dated. Best thing about it is the magnificent view of the Charles River and the Bosron Skyline. good proximity to events at MIT. if the price is right, stay here.

Old and dated hitel

Awful experience. Room key didn't work after several attempts with different keys. Engineer had to take lock apart at 11:00 at night. Same problem next day after it was "fixed". Room service poor- oatmeal was cold, forgot my toast.

The Hyatt was remarkable. Great service. Beautiful view. The manager and front desk was a big help when we first arrived. They were very kind and polite and made our stay enjoyable. The parking garage and shuttle were convenient for our stay. I was happy with our stay. Definitely will be back in my near future.
