This hotel has many qualities and the staff was top notch. The room was a bit shabby with torn unfunctioning blackout curtains and the beds were not comfortable.

Below standards for Hyatt Regency hotels

Posted 27-Aug-2015
Pros: Location, the lobby and the glass elevators
Cons: Improvements: Room decor, bathroom cleanliness and bathroom make over. Maid service should provide new, unused toiletries. Ice macines on all floors.
Location: Harvard Square, Fenway park, downtown Boston.
Lobby was nice. The room was definitely not to the level of other Hyatt Regency hotels that we have stayed at in the past. The shower stall was so small that my elbows touched the walls (no bathtub). Shampoo and conditioner were used and half full. Two towels were dirty. The room decor was dated. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The front desk highly recommended the shuttle service and the ease of using it. Both the front desk and bell boy indicated the wait time would be 10 minutes. After waiting 20 minutes we asked how much no longer. Bell boy indicated about 8 minutes longer. We ended up waiting 35 minutes before the bell boy decided to hail a cab.

good hotel but far from Down Town

Posted 25-Aug-2015
This is a very good hotel. The room is very clean. But it is inconvenient that the place is far from the center of the city.

Pros: I'm a germaphobe so I loved that the room was clean
Location: Complimentary shuttle service to certain points of town were great. Free wifi and first use of Hotel computer a plus. Great location
We were flying to Boston to support a friend that played for the RED SOX. Unfortunately he was traded to the Angels 2 weeks prior to our arrival. Our stay fell on the free taxation weekend which was awesome. Boston is Awesome and we saw everything we planned to see

Odore di frittura

Posted 20-Aug-2015

Excellent Hotel Staff

Posted 17-Aug-2015
Pros: The staff is amazing and the service is as well.
Cons: The shuttle service should pick up and drop off at the airport since location to the airport was a majority of our reason to stay at this location.
Location: It is close to MIT and Harvard Square.
We enjoyed our stay, the staff was friendly and courteous, always making us feel welcome. The rooms are nice and clean and the beds are comfortable. The food is delicious and the breakfast buffet is fantastic! The only negative is getting back and forth to Boston, which is just across the bridge, no more than 5 miles away. The hotel shuttle drops off and picks up at 4 locations, but only in Cambridge, so you should expect to use the subway to get back and forth to Boston (for the least expensive alternative) or pay pricey cab fares. We used the shuttle and found it to be relatively easy and convenient with the shuttle dropping us off and picking us up from either Harvard or Kendall Square. We actually walked back from Boston Common one day, and it was only 4.2 miles, but that may not be an option for everyone. Our overall experience was excellent, and if you don't mind using the subway to get around, this is a perfect place to stay.

Pros: location on the Charles river
Self parking -- not clear about what was needed One room key did not work Noisy at night Breakfast included but got no clear idea what that was Food at breakfast buffet was the equivalent of school cafeteria, rubbery eggs, cold potatoes.
