Perfect location

The hotel was walking distance to the orange line. It was also walking distance to other areas. The hotel staff were very friendly. They recommended some great restaurants.

Very clean, but tiny rooms

Posted 16-Sep-2016
Pros: Clean, great location.
Cons: I would focus on the air-conditioner unit. It can be loud. Anything that can be done to reduce vibrations would be appreciated.
Location: A block and a half of Copley Square, two blocks from Boston Public Library, a short distance from Boston Common, and an easy walk from Freedom Trail.
Very recently renovated, with brightly painted (white) rooms with comfortable beds. The rooms are very small, though, so while they are ideal for one person, for two it would be awfully tight. The only complaint I have, is about the air-conditioner unit. It's right next to the bed, and when it goes on, it can make an unholy racket. I am thinking that facilities could strategically place some rubber pads to reduce the vibration.

Old and not worth the price

Posted 15-Sep-2016
Hotel has a good location and rooms were clean and updated. However there are only stairs very difficult to get Luggage in and out Nobel staff to assist and no parking you have to drag your bags up a hill further down the street. I did not find staff helpful or well-informed either

Great location, smart and clean.

Pros: Location, cleanliness
Cons: Breakfast could be offered.
Location: Lots to do nearby. All within walking distance.
This hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room was a little small but the facilities were good. It would have been great to have somewhere that offered breakfast as part if the hotel .

Very central, very convenient

Posted 17-Aug-2016
This was an excellent choice for business travel. Located a couple of minutes walk from Back Bay station and close to every other place I needed to go. I never got to try the restaurant however as it closes very early at 7pm so the staff provided me with a convenient list of options and their distance from the hotel.

Hotel was sufficient for the money we paid. Wish there was a couch or some kind of lounging chair.

Bad experience

Posted 29-Jul-2016
The Hotel is well located. It is too expensive for what they offer. The worse part is service. The worse service I ever had in a hotel. There is a person named Brandon at the front desk, he should be fired inmediately or at least send him to an intensive course of how to treat customers. Rooms were clean but small! I spend around 399 per night. I was expecting something a lot better. Terrible experience!

Great location, very clean and quiet!

Posted 27-Jul-2016
We spent 3 nights at Hotel 140, which was conveniently located in the city (entrance to The T right down the street) and with a parking garage option next door (with reasonably priced overnight parking, just no in/out privileges). Overall wonderful experience, very clean, quiet and decent price for the location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit the Boston area
