I liked being on the river and walking. Might be a little far for some people - I walked to Harvard in 30 minutes - Boston just across the bridge.

The manager Dimetrius and his staff are wonderful. They certainly know how to make guests feel welcome. The hotel is clean, the rooms are very nice. What more could you ask for.

Great staff, daily housekeeping and large size rooms made the even the week long stay comfortable. Access to major Colleges, via walk or subway(T Red and Green ) or bus ( 47 or 70). Trader Joe's right next door, Whole Foods a few minutes walk away provided healthy meal options for low cost.

Room was not cleaned when we checked in, there were crumbs all over the floor. AC unit did not work the 2nd night we stayed. Beware of vaping in the building, no where did it state vaping was not allowed and we were charged an extra $250 charge. They claim there was a detector in the room.

I was happy to have the option of eating lunch or dinner at the in-house Japanese restaurant, but I was surprised that I had to pay a dining fee each day of my stay and use or lose those vouchers. I would have preferred that to be optional rather than required.

The rooms are good and the staff is friendly, but there are not much dining / breakfast options available especially if you have deitary restrictions. You can buy water bottles from the reception but thise are very expensive.

Expedia website and charge profile were inaccurate and not really all that complete. RESEARCH local taxes, parking fees and mysterious ‘destination fees’ before booking. I paid over $100 more than anticipated. Hotel was fine, staff were really good, but parking area was a hazard. Heading to car dealer tomorrow to inspect undercarriage of car for damage. Unless you drive an elevated SUV or similar, park somewhere else.
