« The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. « Fabulous location just a stones throw from the beach. Everything you needed was in the cottage. Floors a bit creaky but to be expected in an old building. No trouble parking on the street though not sure if this is the case in the height of summer. Bit confusing about rubbish(other than a weekly collection mentioned) but found recyling bins on the promenade and a biffa bin near the harbour for general waste. Good collection of books (read 2 during my stay!)Would happily stay at Bari again. »

Ideal location for Fairbourne and surrounding area - you need to go to Dolgellau, Barmouth and try the Precipice Walk and Creggannan Lakes which were lovely walks with stunning views.
