Basic Motel, perfect for one or two night stay, clean with friendly staff, unfortunately the Restaurant was closed due to staff shortages, so had to head out for Takeaway for Dinner

Close to “white kangaroo viewing” but motel is very basic and in desperate need of renovation- staff shortages when we were there meant restaurant was closed but I doubt we would have been tempted anyway

The room was hot went to turn A/C on and the vents were that dusty it would have been unhygienic. There was nothing in the room no plates no knifes or forks to use at all. Bed was supper uncomfortable you could feel the springs and the pillows were terrible. Wouldn’t stay there again

Served a purpose
This was a pit stop on a road trip. The staff are very helpful. The room was well equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster & electric blanket but was very dated with peeling plaster in the bathroom and enamel peeling in the sink. It's a short drive to the main town. If you don't mind constant traffic and railroad noise and basic accommodation then this is the place to stay.

The units are in a real need of an update and tidy up. However the bed was warm and comfortable and the shower was good but the shower area and hand bowl needs upgrading and new deco.of the whole unit.

Staff were considerate, putting the heater on for our late arrival. Everything else was poorly maintained. Looked uncared for, lights didn’t work, remote batteries were dead, tiny tv, uncomfortable lumpy beds…

The owners are so welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and tidy, easy parking. We had a pet friendly room and it was the cleanest pet friendly we have been too in SA. DEFINITELY will be back.

Although old fashioned, the room was spacious and provided us with all we wanted. Some of the bathroom fittings were stained but generally ok. The aircon/heating was a little noisy but worked fine. Two things we weren't happy about: the restaurant was closed and there was nowhere nearby to get a meal from and the wifi kept disconnecting. The longest it let me stay online was 5 minutes and in the midst of a lengthy piece of typing it stopped and I lost all I'd put up. Otherwise we were happy with our stay.
