"Exceptional service and generally superb attitude, friendliness and care. Always available staff. Great character and design. Slight issue with room 3 being facing road and bright light of signage into window. The sound was loud with window open but that was our preference for fresh air. Wouldn’t be issue if you’re happy to not. Breakfast was lovely and has all you need hot or cold. Great location."

"Excellent hotel, service was amazing and it is in the very heat of Bordeaux. In walking distance to nearly all attractions. Spa and sauna/ steam room are therapeutic and beautiful, rounding the day off with a visit to the roof top bar with is gorgeous views over the roof tops of Bordeaux. "

"We stayed in Novotel Bordeaux Lac for 5 days and had a lovely time! Our room was comfortable and clean, the food at the hotel restaurant was very nice, the staff kind and helpful and our 9 year old son also enjoyed the games room which had an XBox and a bar football. Highly recommended!"

"This is an excellent budget hotel for solo or for a couple traveler. Although the bathroom is a little tight which is typical in Europe, room is very clean. Lobby is trendy and a great place to hang out. Front desk personnel are very helpful and polite. The tram is a few minutes walk and you can also take the boat ride which is included with the city public transportation ticket.
