Our stay was fabulous and would definitely return. The only downside was we were disappointed with the large amount of cereal bowls and plates that were badly chipped ar breakfast every day

Superb!
Can’t fault the service or the hotel. Great location, short walk to all amenities and a large supermarket. Staff were really friendly and had advice for places to eat and visit. Had a great time!

Great location and good standard of hotel.
Hotel is a short walk to the trams connecting you to the city centre and a short walk to the main shopping area. Also very close to a local shopping mall. Very clean and had full aircon. Staff are cheerful and helpful. Our room didn't have any coffee or tea and the staff bought that up immediately. The free water in the mini bar was not filled until the last day but we didn't realise we were supposed to have any until the other people we holidayed with mentioned it. Buffet breakfast was fantastic and had extensive choices. Overall, very clean and great location. Would stay again.

Very disappointed, how this is even considered a 4 star is beyond me. Pictures definitely not accurate. Check in was slow. Room's safe didn't work, AC was barely working. Bar hours not explained nor breakfast. It seemed as though staff was not trained except for the overnignt gentleman whom was very welcoming. Upon check out we were delayed even though I prepaid. Honestly it's about a 10 minute walk to the city, but the walk and area is a bit sketchy....I've traveled all over France and lived overseas and for sure this was probably my worst stay in a very long time. Beds were small and not comfortable.

Nice location a short walk from many bars and restaurants and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It said double on booking but was actually closer to a queen size. The bathroom in our room could use some updating and service. The electric plug was broken, and the shower didn’t drain. So I couldn’t take long showers or shave. they fixed the shower the next day but left the room smelling kind of sewery until we opened up the window for an hour or so. Still didn’t get a chance to shave since the plug never got fixed. Also the door to the bathroom was very loud when it closed.

Nice 4* hotel in a good location. Rooms and lobby are tastefully decorated and spotless clean although the hallway to the rooms could do with an upgrade. Bed's very comfortable and staff very friendly and welcoming. €20 for 2 glasses of wine put us off having any further drinks in the bar. Overall a nice stay and i would recommend to friends and family.

Hotel Mercure Bordeaux Centre Ville
Very enjoyable weeks stay. Hotel well positioned for public transport, but is fairly centrally placed anyhow for tourist sites. Excellent buffet breakfast with hot items eg sausages, bacon and potatoes, which aren’t so usual in French hotels. Spacious room with good soundproofing. Free minibar (no alcohol) and excellent coffee from nespresso pod machine in room. Hotel offered a limited but good selection of food in its bar/ restaurant. Service exemplorary. Well recommended.
