The building is ideally located at the foot of the tram line and very close to the public transport hub of Place des Quinconces, for easy access to the entire Bordeaux metropolis. This ancient building does not have an elevator. Inspiration A sober decoration was favored, enhanced with a painting by Gustav Klimt “The Birch Wood”, an elegant work in autumnal colors creating an atmosphere that is both dynamic and soothing. The Austrian artist is one of the founders of the Viennese Secession movement which aimed to bring together the country's creative forces, establish contacts with foreign artists and advocate an international exchange of ideas. Comfort, elegance and environmental consciousness. For the furniture and equipment, craftsmanship, French manufacturing and “upcycled” materials were favored and chosen to harmonize with the oldest elements of the apartment: oak parquet floors, high ceilings and stone fireplace. May 30, 2024 #### Cute flat in a nice area The flat is new, located in an old building and is very convenient for reaching both the city and the river. Also well connected by transport to the airport. Communication with the lady who manages the check in was unclear, from the day before she let me know that she wanted a mandatory deposit prior to our arrival and the lack of which would result in a peremptory cancellation of the reservation. Check in is at 4pm, not earlier, and arriving at 4:05pm the reception was abrupt and rude justified by the fact that she had other things to do. Zero explanation regarding internet, house instructions and check out. The latter then arrived via automated message on the morning of departure. The flat is clean and comfortable, but it did not correspond at all to what was proposed on the platform. In any case, apart from the small inconveniences, the house is nice and cosy. It is located right in front of the public garden and offers a quiet environment to rest during your stay. Much appreciated the courtesy coffee. ##### Sara B.
