I would give it a 5 star rating. The view was fantastic. White sand beach is awesome. Staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful. The only I can think of not suitable for seniors are the stairs going to 3rd floor where we at. I requested to be in a room with a view. They tried to get us at ground floor but I declined. We had so much fun in our vacation.

Rooms are ok with 2 major problems; Very poor sound isolation. All sound from rooms and passage and pool area nearby is coming into room. Curtains installed in the room is useless as sunlight is getting in room. Rooms does not have DND signage and thus expect house keeping knocking at the door in the wrong time and they will not stop until you open or they open by master key! Location and service in general is very good.

The staff are all amazing- this is what makes the property famous for. They’re all attentive. The room needs an upgrade. I will definitely book again.

Fantastic property in Boracay, Station 1. The only three minor negatives are that the (i) swimming pool is somewhat small, (2) the hotel is directly on the beautiful beach, but there are no loungers or umbrellas. Rather, the hotel provides blankets and you lay down on the sand on them, and (3) food options at the hotel are somewhat limited, and the breakfast options may not be optimal for those used to Marriott, Hilton, or Kempinski breakfast offerings in the USA or Europe. On the positive side, (1) the rooms are very comfortable: we had a 1Br apartment. Two-level loft, with two full bathrooms, and two balconies – one of them humongous, with a large jacuzzi. Very comfortable and well thought-through room arrangements, (2) hotel staff are super pleasant and eager to help, (3) transportation from and to the Caticlan Airport (both bus shuttles and boat transfers) superbly arranged, (4) the beach is gorgeous, and there are several restaurants within easy walking distance on the beach. The hotel provided free shuttle to some areas on the island, including D’ Mall. All in all, Boracay is a beautiful island and I would not hesitate to stay at Discovery Shores Boracay again if my travels bring me back to Boracay sometime in the near future.

I rate this is hotel 10/10. The staff hospitality is exemplary. They clean the room everyday ane refill the amenities without being told. Still water bottles are free and you can ask them to refill anytime. We celebrated our wedding Anniversary there and the staff went above and beyond. We felt so special and loved. We enjoyed their breakfast daily with different variety of foods. Thank you Discovery Shores for the EXCELLENT experience.

We enjoyed our stay. Hospitality is top notch. Staff are friendly and they go above and beyond. They know you by name and they make an effort to make ur stay very comfortable. Best for families and with kids. We just did not like our room (king suite) the location was all the way back, the headboard had visible stains and the A/c was not cooling the room enough.

This hotel lives up to its excellent reputation. All the staff members are so polite and attentive to guests needs. Our junior suite is always spick and span. Everything is in good working and physical condition. The hotel spa is amazing. The beach is beautiful, and so is the sunset. The free hotel shuttle makes moving around very convenient and hassle free. I will book this hotel again if ever i come back to Boracay for vacation.

If you’re considering this hotel, look no more. This is an awesome hotel to stay in Boracay if you want excellent customer service, super friendly staff, great facilities, perfect location if you want to stay away from the crowds. From the moment we got off the plane, everything went smoothly to the hotel. I’ve had the best Kalamansi Cucumber welcome drink and their pandesal with dulce de Leche at breakfast was memorable. I will definitely stay again next I’m in Boracay. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely resort situated in station 1 which includes a great buffet breakfast, transportation from Caticlan airport (all transfers- namely airport to the port, boat to Boracay island & shuttle to resort- which makes it so easy & convenient amongst the crowds), free shuttle service to D'mall & Station 2, beach towels w/ lounge chairs & water, different pillows you can choose from, private plunge pool, all room amenities like slippers, robes, a safe, bath items, bidet sprayer & plateware. Staff is friendly, gracious, responsive & helpful. Spa onsite was a bonus with an adequate selection of massages, large couples massage room with private shower & very good service. Although resort is large (so getting a room towards the street side can be a little bit of a walk to the beach), its location in Station 1 suit us well, with direct beach access & the Sands restaurant beachside. Suite was clean & spacious and housekeeping / turndown service was on point. Rooftop lounge bar is great for views, happy hour cocktails, sunset, jacuzzi & infinty pool. Several pools, of which the main one is closer to the beach, seemed particularly popular for families/kids. Overall, a wonderful stay & definitely recommend if visiting Boracay.

Best hotel ever. Food was on point. Service was attentive yet not intrusive. Little unexpected touches like bottomless water and pandan cooler by the beach, Filipino treats for turndown service, complimentary midmorning and midafternoon snacks, sunglass cleaning, free shuttle, etc.

We stayed at discovery last February to celebrate my mom's birthday. We had a wonderful time. My mom had a hard time walking so the staff was always there to help transport her using a wheelchair. The staff are so nice, helpful and goes the extra mile. From the airport to the resort they are so helpful. The staff even know what my mom likes the 2nd day we were there for breakfast and serves it to her as she has a hard time walking. Even if I never asked for a chair or assistance they were the ones who recommended to use a chair while we were on the sand instead of the lounge so my mom won't have a hard time. The resort was great, food was great they even have taho for breakfast. They even have transportation shuttle if you want to go out. Overall, it was the best vacation experience for me and my mom. I highly recommend this place.

This is my 3rd time at discovery shore . I love the staff … very accommodating and friendly . I will give them 10/10 I love the beach of the property . Station 1 have one of the best beaches and not so crowded The only thing that’s needed is upgrade the bathroom . They have nice bathroom but it needs more maintenance like new grouting and need to upgrade the water drainage of the shower . It gets clogged when raining .

Superb service and wonderful location
The hotel is right in the beach and the famous Boracay sunset can be enjoyed from the beachside to the 360 roof lounge. The most impressive got me though is the very personal service my husband and I got from the time we arrived in Caticlan airport ( we were met by they’re rep with cute shell wrist bands to identify us as their guests, escorted to their van where their driver brought us to the small dock where their speedboat team took over our care and safely hit us to Boracay island and from there, their van driver took us to the hotel itself). Our luggages were taken by their rep from Caticlan airport through all the transfers and we got them promptly in our room already. From the time of check in, they already asked about our return flight to make sure arrangements were done for a smooth departure. I was worried that our flight was way too early ( 730 AM) but the Discovery Shores team knew that 530 AM was a reasonable departure and even packed us a light breakfast to go since the buffet started at 6 AM. The Filipino Hospitality always wins us over! This hotel however definitely is a par above the rest!
