We loved sitting outside watching the boats go by and the birds, mink and deer. Upon walking in to the home, I immediately felt comfortable and as if I were walking into a space that was filled with love, laughter, and so many other good things. The home was the perfect size, had the most amazing view, and satisfied my and my friend's need to climb on rocks and do some beach combing. :) We visited Reid State Park and attending the art fair, grabbed lobster rolls from Five Islands and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion to Michael is to include a note about the stairs leading up to the 2nd floor as they are rather steep. Those steps would not stop me from booking this space again. The cottage was clean and supplied everything we needed. There was an excellent view of the water and pine trees with lobster boats gliding back and forth. Beautifully scenic. The Five Islands Lobster Pier was a walk away for a fresh seafood meal. We also enjoyed a lovely meal at Blue restaurant located in Greyhaven Inn on the water.
