We liked the location and view but there are things that need addressed. The sheets and blanket on the king bed were dirty with food crumbs and smelled like a dog. We had to sleep on a blanket as there were no other sheets. We washed everything and remade the bed the next morning. The pillows on the beds were flat and the foam mattress topper was not made for a king and was very stained. The coffee pot leaked, we flipped a breaker and had a hard time finding the breaker box as it was behind a mirror on a dresser. The deck and stairs are in need of some attention. The path to the dock is treacherous and not as pictured. I called to complain. They left me a voicemail but when I called back I received a text they would return my call but I never received another call. The bedrooms are a good size and the kitchen was relatively stocked with cutlery and dishes and pans. Bring your own salt and pepper and all condiments. The towels provided were nice and plentiful and there were extra sheets and pillows in the closet. Having a washer and dryer on hand was nice. This place is a relatively simple and rustic cabin. Don't expect luxury but if you want a simple and pretty comfortable place to hangout with friends or your family, it'll do the job. Great location if you're going to the botanic gardens. It was like a 10 minute drive away and also close to a cute downtown. ##### Amanda F. Additionally the window in one of the bathrooms did not work, the dishwasher was not secured and tilted when you put dishes in, one of the commodes ran constantly unless you jiggle. Séjour de 3 nuits en juillet 2024 ### 2/10 – Terrible #### Deva K. 11 oct. 2022 #### Not what I thought it would be I booked this place 5 months ago and there were no reviews which I figured was because it was advertised as a 'new listing'. Now, 6 months later there is one review and it is 2 star. In fact, when I booked it I used the search filters for a waterfront property and this was presented as if it was. Since I booked they changed the phrasing on the listing but still list it as a waterfront with search buttons. The place was tiny. There was an open sewer. The bathroom sink did not drain. There was a long steep windy unsafe path to a lone dock which you could not step off of, as you would go on a persons property. This dock was across the street !! I am very glad we did not need the loft area, which cuts into the feeling of space, as the ladder was unsafe, unhooked and way to steep for adults or children. ##### Deva K. It's impossible to be in the main living space and not be visible to anyone on the deck which is shared with the neighboring rental.
