Very peaceful location! Just minutes from the blue ridge parkway. The cabin was super cosy, had everything you needed in there. Shower has great water pressure; plenty of towels; is pet friendly. The host is super helpful and very nice.
A quite relaxing stay.. the home was extremely clean, and cozy.. Definitely will return.. the leaves are starting to change colors, cool crisp nights, and hiking trails close by.. another perfect stay
We love this little cabin.. great place to unwind and enjoy peace and quite.. we have rented many times , and it never disappoints.. see you at Christmas.
Stayed ten days this time at this lovely cabin. Was absolutely perfect to have family come over for christmas, We enjoyed just the peace and quiet of the woods as well. Most definitely will be back
We loved the cabin and had so much fun. We brought our own games, but there were actually some there, so we had a wide variety. Great communication with our host, too.
This cabin has become home away from home for us.. it holds a special place in our hearts. We appreciate the opportunity to get to stay here, while making memories with our family.. cant wait til ext time..
Amazing location, so many attractions close by and able to see them all in a few days. Very private and secluded which is what we were looking for. Would definitely book again!!!
Our stay was amazing and relaxing and wonderful! This cabin is warm and cozy and was the perfect spot for our family to reconnect and just be together. Thank you so much! We would love to come back!!!
Relaxing mornings waking up, making coffee, sitting on the porch and listening to the birds. Fire pit was a great place to tell jokes and hang out. And the hikes nearby were all amazing. Everything we needed out a cabin

I liked the tranquility and nearby places to visit, walk and enjoy with the family. In addition to all the comforts that the cabin had.
I will come back…We have a white new year 2024.👏👏👏
The house has a nice location surrounded by forest canopy. Lots of comfortable seating inside and out. I slept soundly hearing only crickets(?) and birds. We ventured out to meet up with friends in the neighborhood, there was everything we needed besides groceries. It was a great weekend.
Great mountain location, needs additional management
It was a great location, with a lot of space. The linens did not seem fresh, towels were not in any restrooms (we had to search and find them in the laundry room). It was a great space, just needs to be cleaned/managed better to justify cost.
We only needed a place to relax in the evenings and get a good night's rest after the days' activities, and this place delivered. I am a light sleeper that lives where everyone has 10's of acres and I felt at home here. There were only 2.5 of us, but this place can sleep 6 very comfortably. The 4th bed is only conducive for a kid or 2.
The cabin was well stocked. The cabinets/shelves were filled with dishware, glasses, coffee maker, crockpot, etc. The table seats 4, but there are TV trays and side tables in the den. This is an older cabin with older cabin quirks. It isn't as refined as a lot of options, but it is also priced accordingly.
It is a nice proximity to skiing, Linville Caverns, Pisgah Forest, etc. There is a local trail head, a large deck & lots of chairs around the fire pit - plenty of outside activities right out the back door.

Beautiful Setting, but Cabin Was Not Clean or Well-MaintainedBeautiful Area, Some Cabin Issues
The location of this cabin is excellent—quiet, wooded, and close to some of the best hiking and mountain attractions in the area. The neighborhood is peaceful, and check-in was straightforward. The owners were communicative and tried to assist when problems came up.However, the cabin itself was a disappointment. While the beds were made and linens were clean, the overall cleanliness of the cabin was poor. There was dust and cobwebs on walls, light fixtures, shelves, and other surfaces throughout the cabin. The kitchen dishes were dusty and several bowls contained dead bugs. Every dish, pot, pan, and utensil had to be washed before use. Additionally, the outdoor deck was dirty and covered in debris, and there were cigarette butts left in ashtrays on the deck and scattered around the yard. The gas fireplace did not work during our stay. The owners responded quickly and attempted to help us troubleshoot the issue, but it turned out to be a problem that only the gas company could fix. Unfortunately, that meant no working fireplace for the duration of our trip, which was disappointing given the cool weather. All that said, this cabin has potential, but the state of cleanliness detracted from our experience.
We had a great time in the last slice! It was a great home to reconnect with family we hadn’t seen in a while. Very charming and easy to feel at home.
The hosts have been amazing. Very kind and easy to communicate with. I left some shoes and my kids toys at the cabin and they are willing to mail them to me which is so kind!
My only feedbacks are I wish it was just a bit cleaner. Specifically in terms of dust/cobwebs.
Additionally we used the grill provided (we had to bring charcoal and lighter fluid, no problem!) but I wish there would have been tools to use on their grill. There were no tongs and only a plastic spatula. I d fed up flipping burgers with a large metal spoon and a fork. Not. Major issue..but also a simple fix.
