The trees have grown up so as to not allow for the view that is represented in the pictures. The initial impression of cleanliness was present, although it was very "dated" and in need of freshening up. The result being an accumulation of unnecessary clutter in the cabinets, etc. An overall declutter and deep cleaning is in order!!I'm not sure what is happening to the downstairs, but there is a lot of "junk" that looks like unfinished remodel material left lying around.This is a solid structure that with some TLC could be a lovely destination!! ##### JAN C. This is the third year in a row we have stayed at this cabin. The views are breathtaking. Every morning and afternoon the mountains and surroundings change with the clouds and it is spectacular. Everyday of our stay we would see deer walking by or on the ride up the mountain. The cabin has everything we need. The beds are extremely comfortable. It is close to all the local attractions. We skied and went riding at Hawksnest. We went to Banner Elf for dinner and Blowing Rock all beat little towns. And of course Boone is a cool town to explore.
