Perfect size for our family of 4\. We were able to utilize the firepit at the Crestwood Inn (right next door) for S’mores and cocktails in the evening. Cottage was nicely updated, well appointed, and well stocked with everything we needed. Sitting on the back covered deck for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening was so relaxing. Host, Max, was super accommodating, responsive, and very helpful. Close to Boone, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock. Easy couple of miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, where you can find dozens of hikes. Especially close are Julian Price Memorial Park and Moses Cone Memorial Park with easily assessible hikes. The Gamekeeper restaurant was the main attraction for out trip, and is only a stones throw from the cottage. We will stay here again! ##### Diane M.
