The house was clean, spacious, and offered a beautiful view of the mountains, conveniently located near all the attractions we visited. The only issue we had was with the driveway, which proved to be quite challenging. It might benefit from paving, as a 4x4 vehicle would ensure easier access. However, this was a minor issue compared to the overall experience. The host was exceptional—very prompt in responding to our messages. When my husband and daughter encountered some bald-faced wasps, the host took care of the nest immediately.I highly recommend staying several days to truly enjoy all that Boone has to offer, as a weekend might not be enough. Very comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Asked the host about the Wi-Fi password and he responded very quickly. The house is close to town and there are lots of restaurants. My only caveat is the steep gravel driveway is very difficult to drive up. Four-wheel drive would be helpful. Also, there are quite a few stairs up to the living area so if you can’t carry your suitcases up steps you might want to rethink this house. Steep narrow streets run through the neighborhood with no place to walk dogs - you’ll need to take them to a park for exercise. Fortunately there are a number of lovely parks with easy trails nearby. If you’re able to deal with the few challenges outlined above, you’ll love this beautiful spot. ##### Pat Y. The location was so convenient to Boone, with just enough removal from town to enjoy the privacy and the view. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children.
