Bean Bag Cabin is a charming, three-story mountain cabin on Beech Mountain. It boasts impressive long-range views from the three-story rear decks. It is less than 2 miles from the slopes of Beech Mountain Ski Resort. This home is a convenient, comfortable mountain getaway with numerous rustic cabin features, such as vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings, authentic wood walls, and a stacked stone fireplace. Downstairs is a den/game room with bean bag seating and a multi-use game table. The den functions as a place to entertain with a Buck stove fireplace and bar or as a 5th sleeping area. The den also has a sliding glass door leading out onto the lower covered deck and to the hot tub. \*Bean Bag Cabin employs doorbell cameras and has a camera installed in the owner's closet. Must be at least 25 years of age to book. The linens on two of the beds had not been changed from the prior guests, trash was still sitting on the back porch, dirty dishes were in the dishwasher, the kitchen counters were not wiped down, and overall everything was very dusty. For a property where I pay a cleaning fee, I expect better! I informed the rental agency who offered to have the same cleaning company come out to clean the next day, but by then we had already cleaned the kitchen, dishes, washed the sheets, and taken out the trash - needless to say, we didn’t take the offer. Great views, The kitchen was well equipped and the hot tub was a nice way to relax. The only thing I would suggest is a booklet explaining the use of all the tv remotes in the family room and a hair dryer would be nice. Downstairs was a musky smell but we read that before we went.
