It was very difficult for a 5’2” person to get in and out of the beds. The bathrooms were very small and hard to get into. As usual, the photos made the rooms look larger than they were. The kitchen was well-equipped, but so small that two people had problems with that. The TV did not work…no information. My daughter brought a device on the second day which helped. We left on Thursday instead of Saturday. Best part was the beautiful weather. I think this place was more appropriate for young winter skiers! The unit + location is within walking distance to downtown Blowing Rock & very convenient. The unit is equipped with everything you need, i.e., dishes, utensils, appliances, etc., however, there is no ice maker so don't forget to get a bag of ice. I would suggest that the cleaning service clean the outside patio table & seating area and the sheets/linens while clean are very thin; perhaps a refresh is needed. The front glass door will not shut unless you pull on it. The washing machine did not work & was reported to the owner who apologized for the inconvenience. Overall, it met our needs, and we sincerely appreciated the opportunity to stay there. ##### Patricia A.
