We booked this through Expedia and selected a "superior room" with 2 queens and full kitchenette. We arrived and were a little shocked by the appearance of the motel (not a lodge for sure) and we also got a shock when we opened the door to our room and found 2 double beds. They didn't have queens on this location for us and this was the best room they offered. It was far from clean, it smelled like someone sprayed a cleaner in here but upon initial inspection we had to give it a wipe down ourselves. Unfortunately due to the events going on around St. Paul that weekend we had no choice but to stay here. We crammed our family in and made due but the inability to control the heat, the size of the beds, and the cleanliness of the hotel made this a definite cross off the list for any future visits. We would take a 45 minute drive over having to be here again.
Hotel is staffed by one individual and do not expect bang for your buck with the breakfast bar - Costco muffins, fruit loops, and bagels. Be forewarned that the office is not open until 8am on Sundays and if you were expecting a cup of coffee from the breakfast bar, it might 8:30/8:45 Sundays.
Disappointed that what we signed up for and paid for was not even close to the expectations set out.
