Total tranquility & delightful surroundings, nestled on the immediate edge of meadows (with the famous Charolais cows as privileged neighbors in season), under the wooded ridges of the surrounding hills, a stone's throw from the first vines. Full of charm & perfectly preserved, having contributed to the extraordinary influence of the Cluny Abbey, from the 10th to the 18th century, Bonnay has a unique heritage (listed medieval hamlet with 14th century castle, listed Romanesque chapel from the 11th century, historic stately homes & traditional rural houses from the 16th and 17th centuries, remains of one of the very first fortified churches in Burgundy dating from the 11th century...) and benefits from a magnificent rural & natural hilly setting, between hedgerows & vineyards, nestled in the hollow of the verdant Guye valley at the foot of several wild forest areas.
