Our group of 6 adults and 4 children (age range of 4 months-6 years) had a wonderful time in this home! Each family with children had their own floor as it worked out! The kids loved the heated pool and spa. We were a short walk from the beach which was nearly empty. The home had beach chairs, toys, towels and a cart to make it easy to get it all to the beach. The home's decor is very attractive. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well-equipped and made preparing meals very easy. We really enjoyed the rooftop watching the sunsets. We kept planning to use the firepit but never got to it. The owner was very easy to contact and was responsive to the issues we had. We had several delicious meals at nearby restaurants. We love the area and are happy to see the recovery occurring after the devastating hurricane last year! We would definitely consider renting this home again. ##### Sally R. There are bedrooms on 3 different floors which allowed us to have space apart when we wanted it. The main kitchen and dining table were large enough for all of us to gather together for meals. For the most part, the house supplies everything you could need. A few amenities that are highlighted in the listing were not in working order— main fireplace, a few ceiling fans, issues with/ difficulty operating the rooftop hot tub, so that was a little disappointing. There is definitely a learning curve to operating the elevator and pool/hot tub heaters, but they were nice to have around once we figured them out. Elevator got stuck once (thankfully no one was trapped in it) and hosts were helpful in diagnosing the problem (circuit breaker tripped.) ##### Steve C. But for such a large amount of money to rent a house like this I expected everything to be perfect and working. The hot water didn’t work in a bunch of the showers. The refrigerator was broken and then during the stay the freezer broke. There was a back up fridge but it wasn’t nearly big enough for that many people. The 2 grills were poorly maintained and hardly got hot. The floors were dirty when we got there and half of our group didn’t want to take their shoes off the whole time we were there. The volleyball court is not a volleyball court. It is so small small children couldn’t play on it. There is grass growing in it, so many rocks and shells that if you walked on it barefoot you’d probably slice your foot open not to mention it is on the main road. But the weirdest thing might have been that we were told by the owner that we were going to have the property manager stop by and check in on us from time to time to make sure we weren’t violating some of the many many rules we had to follow.
