It's not possible to run out of exciting things to do near Whetstone Bay; what a wonderful place for camping it is. The helpful operators of the campground and loads of exciting things to do have many folks coming here. Needless to say there are restrooms here. Whetstone Bay is a magnificent site for boating, and a good bicycle ride here is always enjoyable. You may get bait and tackle here, and the best way to enjoy the wilderness here is in a canoe. Some activities here at Whetstone Bay are relaxing, and playing golf, so you won’t get bored. Enjoy golfing here; going for a good hike is always exciting here. Whetstone Bay has some delightful cabins, and when the sun is out at Whetstone Bay you may always take pleasure in the weather at the picnic area. Basecamp

Perfect base camp for our South Dakota adventures. Located in a convenient area for us to access the country we needed. Simple rooms with everything we needed to stay a week. Easy checkin and checkout! Convenience store within walking range plus the TeePee cafe for breakfast or lunch just across the parking area. Look forward to next year!
