Great location, freindly service
Great location, 5 minutes to train station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good price, clean and comfortable rooms. Walk or taxi to all main sites. Busses are ok too.

This hotel is a good price and conveniently located. It is quite clean and has a good breakfast. The main issue is that the wall are extremely thin, you can heat all conversations and coughing from your neighbours.

This hotel is right outside the restricted area, so it’s much easier drive and park your car. It’s an older hotel, walking distance to the center of town and it was less expensive.

A traditional (maybe old-fashioned) style comfortable hotel in a quiet street, very convenient for the station and link to the airport but a bit of a hike from the historic centre of Bologna.

Lovely hotel, very close to the Central train station and walking distance (20 mins walk) to the historical old town. We forgot to tell the hotel we needed an early check in but they still managed to accommodate us and gave us the room straight away. Comfy bed, clean bathroom, really nice breakfast. Very friendly and efficient staff.

A great find
Easy and speedy check in, nice room and a fantastically comfy bed, made this a perfect location and I will now use this hotel for future Bologna visits. Classic in design, a little dated and olde world, which I loved. Perfect stay!

Fine hotel
Hotel is fine. It is clean, comfortable, close to train station and with good breakfast included. However the room we stayed in was in an annex at first floor which was reachable only externally and with no controls to adjust room heating.

Disappointing
Loud water flush from the floor above made my stay to an unpleasant one. Usually restrooms are located one above the other. Here I guess the restroom and the shower of the room above me were just above my bed. Crazy noise. Asked to change a room and was told it’s not possible due to fully booked hotel. My room was in the first floor. Will never rate this room as a 4 star hotel room. Besides that the room was very clean.

Aircon disbled and rooms too hot.
Nice hotel close to the main train station, reasonably priced with decent breakfast included. The issue is that the air conditioning is disabled in October and the rooms were stifling. I called reception who advised that Aircon is not possible in October and I should open the window, which I did but the room remained too warm and there was too much noise from outside. I did not manage to sleep. Apart from that (and hard pillows) the hotel is OK.

A Gem for sure

Decent hotel with bad advice
Suppose you’re looking for a decent hotel next to the train station this your place. It’s a simple hotel, the staff is friendly but gave me bad advice. I asked two separate people at the front desk whether I should book a taxi for 6 am flight, all reassured me that there was no need to do so, that one would be available in two minutes when called upon. That was not the case, it took 30 minutes for the taxi to arrive and then I had the staff give me lectures that I should’ve booked it in advance...

Better than expected!
Rooms looked quite outdated in the pictures when I booked the hotel, but upon arriving I was surprised to see it wasn't that bad. Rooms were indeed outdated, and the double bed was made out of two single mattresses connected, but the shower looked relatively freshly renovated. Room was very spacious!

Still wonderful after 13 years
I stayed in this hotel in 2006 and remembered it fondly. While I usually shop around, no need, I knew I wanted to go back. It eas a great value. I arrived early at 11:45 AM, but Don at the front desk gave me a room right away. He also recommended restaurants and a great supermarket 3 blocks away. The room was a good size. Bed was comfy. In room safe is a us. It was very quiet. The bathroom is large, with nice anenities. There are two shower heads, with strong water pressure and perfect temperature. The great breakfast is what I remember best and it was just as fantastic. The quality of the local ham, moryadell and cheese is a delight. The filled croissants and delicious cakes are so wonderful. They have all the usual cold items, eggs and bacon. The hotel is close to shopping, restaurants and walking distance to the major sites. It is two blocks from the train station, so easy to do day trips to San Marino and Ravenna. I love this hotel and would definitey return!

Good for short business trip
Great breakfast in the morning and convenient location close to train station. Rooms are a bit dated and due a refurb. Can be difficult to control temperature, thus room can get quite stuffy at night. No noise issues. Hotel did try to charge me twice (one through card prior to check in and then again at checkout) but I put it down to a (honest) mistake by checkout clerk though time was wasted trying to solve this. Overall, good for a short stay but if you’re with kids or on a longer stay, the place may get to you after a couple of days

Very convenient for the main train station which is why we booked it. Extremely easy to find. the place is clean but a little old. Bathroom nice and bright but rooms a bit dark. Breakfast is average, had to miss first day as it only opens at 7am and had to be out for the trip at 6.55 Walking distance to the centre of Bologna, Bologna as a city has only discovered it has tourist potential in the last few years.
