A good, simple room that’s perfect to crash in the midst of exploring the city. Location is perfect: 15mins walk from both the center of Old Town and the train station too. Also a lot of cafes, supermarkets, pizzerias, etc. in the area.

A little odd, but good!
Very clean. Weird place- felt like a college dorm with basic appointments. They make your leave your key when you leave and you have to be buzzed in the front door, but had no issues with it.

Very Thin Walls
The hotel itself is okay, the staff is friendly enough - a little bit basic, but it is what you can expect for the price. However one thing that everyone should keep in mind - walls are VERY VERY thin. We heard everything from the room next door, who were up until 3am and kept us awake the entire night. To make matters worse, we were woken up early in the morning to their sounds. Awful experience.

There was no elevator for the first two floors, had to carry suitcases up 2 flights of stairs and out room had no AC (and it was summertime hot)

Spacious rooms, nice staff, perfect location.
A 15-min walk from Bologna railway station and a 15-min walk to Piazza Maggiore, the hotel is very convenient as far as a tourist is concerned. It is also very close to several supermarkets as well as Mercato delle Erbe, I won't worry about getting supplies. However, it lies on a main road and some noises are expected especially at night.

Good et safe place
Good but not perfect! People speak only italian for the majority. It is not very close for visits.

The hotel is pretty institutional: furniture and finishings from the 60's, a window that opened to a courtyard (so no hope of a breeze), and surprisingly noisy. It did the trick, but was not great. In a somewhat expensive city for accommodation I guess it was a reasonable value for the choice, but if you're coming from the south of Italy, don't expect much at this price range compared to what's you're used to.

Central location and friendly staff
Brilliant location - walking distance from the city's main attractions and restaurants as well as the central station. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout the 24hour reception and helpfully booked our early morning taxi to the airport (which was also reasonable). The hotel was a fair price and the standards of the room reflect this, they were basic and spacious but well equipped for a city break. Wonderful stay.

Nice budget choice, very close to center
I was very happy with this hotel, especially for the price. It's fairly close to the center (although in a somewhat grittier part), and the room was clean and reasonably comfortable. They didn't speak much English at the front desk, but had enough to check me in, and they were quite friendly.

Nice room on mainroad
Just two negatives: poor wi-fi and noisy street. Other than that great - center walking distance, loads of restaurants, clean room, friendly staff. Oh and min 2 floors of stairs to get to any room, no lifts.

It did the job for one night, but wouldn't stay longer. The blankets were so outdated, makes you wonder what's on them. Also the shower was uncomfortable and very small. The shower curtain would get stuck on your body as showering from how small it was.

Pleasant surprise
I wish I stayed for 2 nights. I booked last minute and this was way better then expected. Easy check in, clean comfortable room. Secure door with staff 24/7 and they hold the key for you so you don't have to worry about losing it. When my boyfriend came in with hands full of coffee they even opened the door. Very nice. It's very sterile looking so not romantic but if you are traveling for a month like us this is very welcome. Internet even worked in room even though it is listed as only in the lobby. Lucia was so kind and sweet. We arrived early just to drop our bags and they let us check in an hour early. Awesome.

Clean, inexpensive hostel good for students with a shared bathroom. I accidentally booked a smoking room, so things smelled a little smoky, but other than that, absolutely no problems.

Great value!
Everything I could want in a 1-star pensione! Clean, quiet, never a wait for the bathroom, and easily walkable to the sights I wanted to visit in Bologna. The staff was lovely and someone was at the desk 24 hours a day. The wifi worked in the room but their system can only authorize one device per phone number, so I couldn't connect both my iPad and phone. But for the price this was a huge value!

Very very basic hotel with a central location.It was really expensive during my stay due to a convention in Bologna,but thats not an excuse.I paid 100 euros per night,but its not worth mire than 20.Convenient if you just want to use it for a sleep

poor service
there was no internet service during the 1st night of my stay. one of the staffs could barely speak English and when I asked for directions, he seemed inpatient and impolite in telling. My room was facing the main street so it got noisy when the buses started running in the morning. There was a shared bathroom but it was quite far away from my room and I'm not sure how many people were actually sharing it.

Nice hotel better than I expected
Good place for sleep. I've booked a smoking room as they only have this option and the room wasn't smelling to cigarettes and the size of room was quite good. And there were no carpets which was quite good for me as I'm allergic to house dust mites.

luck of cleanness, great location
Luck of cleanness and luck of taste is what it describes this hotel better. We stayed only one night and I don't think we could handle staying more. I would not recommend it. Must say that the hotel personnel were very nice and responsible. Great location also.

A parte la posizione buona, molto comoda al centro storico di Bologna, per il resto molto deludente sotto ogni aspetto: arredamento terribile, vecchio, asciugamani non in spugna che non asciugano nulla, trovata polvere nettamente visiva. Non credo che ci ritornerei. Rapporto qualità prezzo per una persona sola decisamente alto, senza neppure la colazione.
