Modern apartment with beautiful garden a few steps from the Giardini Margherita of Bologna.  
  
  
  
The apartment, located on the ground floor of a building with an entrance under the typical Porticoes of Bologna, welcomes guests with a comfortable space featuring a coat rack, an umbrella stand, a mirror, a shelf and a bench under which they can store shoes. A large open space with a sofa, a dining table and a fully-equipped kitchen follows the entrance. The kitchen includes amenities such as an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster and an espresso coffee machine. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms, one furnished with a queen-size bed, a single sofa bed, a clothes rack, a mirror and a desk, the second one with a queen-size bed made of two single beds, a closet and a mirror. A bathroom with shower completes the layout.  
  
The jewel of this apartment is the cozy garden accessible from every room. Surrounded by suspended lights, plants and colorful walls, and equipped with a sofa, two tables with chairs, a barbecue and a fountain, it creates an intimate space where guests can relax during their stay.  
  
  
  
Amenities such as free wi-fi, TV in the bedrooms, washing machine, iron and heating will be available in the accommodation.

Bologna is a city of art, culture and trade. The capital of Emilia-Romagna is also known as “Dotta” (erudite), being the oldest university of the West, as “Grassa” (fat) for its gastronomic delights and “Rossa” (red) for the colors characterizing its old town. Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theaters, characterized by almost 40 km of porticoes. In the city center there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna can surprise you in every season.  
  
  
  
Bologna central train station is 2,5 km from the apartment, while the airport is less than 25 minutes away by car.

Appartement bien situé pour visiter Bologne, tout est faisable à pied. Comme pour énormément de location,l’équipement de la cuisine peut être amélioré. ( puls de 4 verres, fouchette et assiettes rend la vie plus facile ! La possibilité de manger à l’extérieur esr un plus, mais il faudrait prévoir une table qui le permet à tous les convives (4). Accueil sympathique et efficace, Ares nous a renseigné d'excellents restaurants, suivez ses conseils sans hesiter!

Everything was perfect. There were 4 adults so 1 couple in one room, an adult in 2nd room and 3rd adult slept on the foton in an off side room. Communication with host was excellent. A small market right across the street and a couple cafes located close by. Walkable to Neptunes square and shopping. Nice patio courtyard outside where my husband smoked his cigar. Very good stay!

The best part about this apartment is the host. Such a delight and provided us with all info needed for a perfect visit to Bologna if you want the local experience. We even left a cell phone and Luca shipped it to us. The best experience!

Great location, short walk to the old town and restaurants/bars. Good size and very glad of air con! Garden is overlooked by upstairs apartments and cooler inside whilst we were there so didn't use garden. Supermarket also a short walk.

#### Goede locatie om drie dagen in Bologna te verblijven

De incheck was haastig. Ze wilden een precieze tijd die niet is te geven in het Italiaanse verkeer. Het contact met de agentschap gaat via app. Dat is op zich niet verkeerd, maar het heeft wat onpersoonlijks en het gaat vooral om de regels die nageleefd moeten worden.

Prettig verblijf, ruim appartement met privacy en in rustige omgeving voor 4 nachten om Bologna te bezoeken. Accommodatie is dichtbij historisch centrum, toeristische attracties en voorzieningen. Parkeren in de buurt is makkelijk. 20-8 gratis bij blauwe lijn op 10 min loopafstand.

Das Appartement liegt an guter Lage, ist sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Leider war die Kaffeemaschine nicht da, dafür die Kapseln und natürlich eine Bialetti also alles gut.

#### Usual story

I wouldn't use 'Wonderful Italy' again. They're focussed on sales and not customer service. They offer a 'local' experience but provide nothing more than generic city stuff. They failed to tell us we were staying during a public holiday - a heads up would have made all the difference. You really had to chase to get any info - nothing about the weird taxi situation in Bologna. We had to sign the contract on check in when we were tired and it was late so had no choice! Like many properties that aren't actually used by the owner, it was unloved - drawers & lights not working, none of the many clocks worked, leaky shower which we were told to clean out because it was blocked! The garden was untidy and poorly looked after. No mats, so the mud/leaves come in with you everytime. The neighbours clearly unhappy about renters. The 2nd bedroom was very cold. We could ntot use the dishwasher because the door wouldn't open more than a crack. The hairdryer was iffy - needs checking by an electrician. There are only 2 comfy seats in the common area!

The location is great as it is just outside of the super touristy area but close enough to make walking everywhere no problem. We took advantage of the local bakery, deli and vegetable market etc. I would stay here again in the future.
