When visiting the Ducati museum
Super friendly staff and all of them very helpful, helped with directions to the Ducati museum, which bus to take downtown, selling bus tickets in the lobby and the morning cappuccinos! Very quiet and beds were perfectly firm. Location was very good for our activities and there was a very good restaurant nearby. Since the Ducati factory was closed so we couldn't take that tour we are obviously coming back and will stay here again for sure. Oh yeah, breakfast was very good too!

Room was clean and comfortable. An area in the shower was quite slippery. Staff are very nice and competent. Food was very good with friendly and accommodating staff. Great value over-all.

Everything was so clean and I had everything I needed in the room. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend to those wanting a quiet, safe, clean place to stay that is 3km outside downtown.

This hotel is over 3 km away from city center and the train station. We walked the distance and with luggage which was not easy but definitely doable. The area looked sketchy but but maybe it is normal for locals. We used the free bikes to ride to San Luca and then to city center which was cool. Hotel was ok but even triple room felt cramped. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This property was great. Not close to the centre of the city but a short bus ride (#13 bus) got us there quick. You can buy bus tickets at the front desk, or on the bus directly. The staff treated us great! The rooms are very spacious, very well kept, and super clean. A bit on the older side but still nice and big. No pool. No balcony. They brought us a baby crib with extra towels for the children which was very nice. No breakfast offered but there is a mall close by (near the bus stop) with a GREAT cafe to eat at. The mall also has a grocery store. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We would return here in the future. kid/family friendly resort.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. The bathroom could have used a bit more cleanliness. There was a leak at the overhead entrance air conditioning vent that was dripping whenever the air conditioner was turned on. The restaurant’s were within walking distance. Overall it was a good to fair stay considering the price we paid for the room.

We only stayed overnight in transit toVenice but found the room clean and comfortable. I was pleased that parking was included and on site since it was raining when we arrived. I was also happy the hotel has partnered with a local restaurant to support food be delivered; and it was hot, tasty and reasonably priced! Breakfast was not included in our package but was only 8 euros and was very hearty with lots to choose from! Overall we were quite pleased with our stay and would definitely consider staying again if in Bologna

Hotel Maggiore Bologna was a nice way to end our stay in Italy. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and located near the airport. The front desks clerks were very helpful and kind. I enjoyed the breakfast, and there were places nearby for dinner. I would definitely stay here again when flying to or from Bologna.

This property is very clean, the front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating and will do anything they can to help you. The room is comfortable with a nice sized bathroom (which we found isn’t always the case in some hotels in Italy). The property also has an on-site laundry room where guests can do their own laundry. There is also a grocery store and great little restaurant within a short walking distance of the hotel. Although this property is about 2 miles from the city center, the bus stop is only 1/2 block away, making it very easy to access the city center. The only negative is the bed pillows were a bit too hard for our tastes...but we would definitely stay there again.

Everybody is super kind and helpful, the breakfast is at par and the rooms are spotless. Bologna Centrale train station is only 40mins away by foot with some cool shops and supermarkets along the way. Also, if you feel like eating pizza at the hotel, there is a pizza place right around the corner of the hotel, about a 30 second walk! Great place and I would stay here again :)

A very charming property, Hotel Maggiore Bologna was the perfect choice for our four-person party at the end of our trip to Italy. Front desk staff were absolutely welcoming, as well as professional. The rooms were set up with everything we would need for the evening, and were very clean and tidy. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and we went to one of the three recommended by the hotel and enjoyed our dining experience there. In the morning, staff rang a taxi for us, and we were able to get to the airport in a timely manner. Grazie mille.

Lovely hotel & staff, room was ready so they let us check in early - traffic noisy & it was 40 min brisk walk from the centre of Bologna - tho was in plenty of bus routes & you can get bus tickets from reception

Ok for single night
Room was good for one night before catching an early morning flight. Single bed, very small space and no air conditioning. Also got overcharged from taxi drivers. But, room was clean and staff helpful

Great place for a budget stay in Bologna. Very clean and the staff are very friendly. 5 minute cycle ride in to the centre. I was very happy with my stay.

Girls trip to Bologna
This hotel has great local transport links with bus stops either side of the hotel on the main road into town and is a short taxi ride (c.10 euro) from the bus/train station and airport. There is an Areobus stop not far from hotel on the way in/from town.Regular bus tickets are available to buy (1.5 euro) from the hotel reception on a use or return basis. It has friendly, clean but slightly dated decor, a small bar, free wifi and friendly reception staff...we didn't go to breakfast but is smelt great! The rooms aren't quiet however and we were woken by sirens in the early morning (around 6am) that we presumed came from the nearby hospital clinic. There's a great bar and a couple of restaurants/pizzeria down the road, as well as a large supermarket type mall to check out.
