The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Nice pool area and hot tub in good condition! Close to restaurants svc mall

Not what I expected from La Quinta

Pros: rate on par with other La Quinta properties
Cons: at least give a customer the option of room type, regardless of the how the reservation was booked.
We booked this La Quinta based on the current 4.3 rating and due to other La Quinta's we have stayed at. Never mind the fact that it was New Year's Eve and after traveling nearly 10 hours from Las Vegas, the idea of a warm hot tub and pool sounded nice. however, at 11pm the pool was crowded with rowdy kids, the dining area was filled with a just as rowdy family party, the room next to ours had a barking dog and on top of it all, we were given an ADA outfitted room. The shower drained onto the main bathroom floor meaning that as soon as you stepped out of the shower, you stepped into a soaking wet bathroom floor. We had to line the tile floor with bath towels to keep from slipping. Additionally, upon check out I gave the front desk clerk my rewards number for which she stated could not be honored because we booked through Expedia. REALLY? I booked through Expedia because of its convenience, I CHOSE to stay at La Quinta because I am a rewards member. Sadly, this property has left us questioning if we are with the right hotel chain. Friendly staff, clean room, breakfast was great, and best of all, our dog was welcome. We will stay here again.

Nice Hotel in Boise

Overall it is a great hotel. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The checkin staff were helpful. The interior of the hotel was modern and well maintained. The breakfast was good and contained a good variety. The only recommendation I would make is to go to the breakfast early because it did not appear to be replenished. (At least not while we were down there.)

Clean, nice, comfortable

Cons: Repair the jets in the jacuzzi so there is more power.
Great location, nice pool, jacuzzi and exercise facility. Rooms are clean, well equipped spacious,, great tv channel selection and up to date. Great breakfast selection. One of the nicer motels to stay at. I am always comfortable there.

Nice facility close to shopping

Pros: The staff is always very friendly!
Cons: Maybe a little memory foam on the beds...
Location: This hotel is very near a large mall and some strip malls.
Our room was very tidy, but lacked any local information/eatery guide, hotel amenities booklet, phone or tv directory. Not everyone has a smart phone. The beds were pretty hard, so we didn't sleep well, but that was okay for one night. We enjoyed being able to keep the room cool overnight. The facility itself was very clean, though some slobs had used the elevator for their garbage between our coming and going. When I reported it, the desk clerk got right on the phone to housekeeping. We have always liked our stays at LaQuita.

Wonderful pet friendly hotel

Pros: The fact they allow pets for no extra fee, and free breakfast makes this an instant sell for me.
Cons: Bags outside for cleaning up after dogs was empty, and therefore a lot of dog poop on the grounds.
Location: Close to all the big shopping in Boise
Clean, Comfortable. Allows pets for no extra fee. Free breakfast, which was surprisingly good. I didn't have time to enjoy it but the 24 hour pool is certainly a plus.
