Boise County Vacation Packages

We stayed in the Boise Guest House for a few days in August and really enjoyed the experience. The house is super convenient and walkable to downtown and the Hyde Park area. Easy access to the unit and well stocked. They supply bikes and even small backpacks in the closet in case you need them for a hike. Very nice and private back yard with a picnic table, propane fire feature table ( we didn’t use this in August) and furniture as well as a cute front porch to hang out on. Very well done and we’ll definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately, our stay was a bit disappointing. Overall, the room was clean, but it had a terrible smell of cigarette smoke, as though someone had smoked in it and the hotel had attempted to clean it afterward. The smell was still very noticeable and unpleasant. The bedding also had a visible stain, and the room felt extremely damp throughout our stay. The staff was friendly enough, but not especially warm or welcoming. The free breakfast was a nice added touch, but the options were very limited. Most items were pre-made and microwaved or served cold, so there wasn't much variety or freshness. Regular coffee was included with breakfast, but specialty lattes and espresso drinks were an additional charge.

Clean room, friendly staff, convenient location. It's an older hotel, so the elevator is quite small. It's conveniently located around a lot of food.

Won’t be back. Took 20 minutes to even have someone in reception. There was no parking available. The room I booked said “studio” that stated it slept 5 comfortably. My king bed and a pull out sofa sounds like a bit of an overstatement for that arrangement. When we asked for bedding for the pullout bed (and bins you thank god it was just me and my 13 year old son) it took them almost an hour to bring us a bag. The bed below the sheets was covered in piss or who knows whatever other stains. The bathroom- The water barely dripped out of the faucet so to fill a cup of water took over a minute. Overall my expectations were not even that high but this place is WAAAY too highly rated for what it was.
