Located in a peaceful village of holiday chalets just 2.5km to Lake Bohinj and 10 mins drive to Vogel ski resort with a huge range of river, lake & mountain activities on the doorstep. The villa has two double bedrooms with balconies, one single bedroom, two large bathrooms, open plan kitchen and dining area with wood burner and large external raised deck, separate living room also with woodburner and access out to a terrace and large garden. Fully renovated and fitted out in 2016/17, Villa Frida makes a very comfortable, well appointed 3 level home for you to enjoy your holiday in Lake Bohinj. You enter into the middle level where a lovely open plan kitchen and dining room greet you. The kitchen is very well equipped and offers dishwasher, microwave, oven, 4 ring stove and kettle and a solid oak worktop. There is a wood burner to keep you warm in Winter months as you site at the country style dining table with build in bench seating. From this level double balcony doors lead to a lovely raised wooden deck overlooking the garden and views and perfect for alfresco dining in Summer months. There is also a small sortage room on this level. Upstairs are three bedrooms, two doubles overlooking the garden each with balcony access and lovely views, one smaller single room and well appointed bathroom with shower room, plus balcony to the front of the house. On the basement level there is a large living room with double sofabed, wood burner and TV, huge bathroom with shower and washing machine and access out onto a terrace and to the garden beyond. A front garden with parking area for 2 cars completes the layout of this meticulously thought out holiday villa. The fit out of the house is consistently high with top of the range bathroom fittings, solid oak floorboards and exposed ceiling beams among its many attractive design features. The house offers free wifi connection suitable for browsing and emailing but not for large media downloads. Faciliteiten zoals supermarkten en zwembad zijn ook dichtbij.Het huis was echter minder schoon dan je mag verwachten. We hebben zelf alle vloeren moeten stofzuigen na aankomst.Op de foto’s online lijkt alles redelijk nieuw, maar dat is niet echt zo. Close to Vogel sky center and to a nice lake for walks. Only 2 points to improve: there are no closets and it is anoing to keep everything in the suitcase for the whole holiday; the hot water is enough for 3 showers if you are more than 3 is a big issue.
