It is one of the most famous Czech castles and is situated on the summits of two basalt volcanic plugs. On the lower peak (47 m) is the two-storey structure called Baba (Old Woman), and on the higher outcrop (57 m) is the four-sided structure known as Panna (Virgin, in the picture). It was built in 1380 and was used for a century. It is a ruin since 1648 when it was burned down during the Thirty years war. Das Zimmer welches wir hatten ist schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch war alles da was man braucht, und sauber war es auch. Das Sport-/Freizeitangebot des Hotels ist wirklich super und hat uns auch an „Schlechtwettertagen“ gut unterhalten.
