Need to know some basic Spanish to talk to staff (few people in Bogota know much English). Do not expect staff to know about all tourist interests - do your homework before coming. Large surrounding area very safe, lots to do. Ask for a suite facing west because of loud, annoying, monotonous music from outside from Weds - Sat 10PM till 3-4AM. I stayed for 10 days and Internet service was horrible. I traveled on business and I ended up having a lost of issues sending emails. Every day there was an issue and one day I was without it almost the whole evening. Horrible Internet service and not meant for a business hotel, more like a cavern type. The breakfast was good and the place has exactly what you pay for.
