The bungalow is privately owned and is maintained to a good standard. It has an open plan kitchen, dining and living room. Suitable holiday accommodation for families and couples alike. There is an allocated parking space at the front of the property and open farmland at the rear. This is a countryside location on the edge of Bodmin Moor. Situated within the 35 acres of Hengar Manor Holiday Park, St Tudy, North Cornwall. All facilities on the country park are available for guests to use, however, there is an extra charge for some of these. There is a laundrette, a shop and a restaurant in the Tavern Bar. Seasonal evening entertainment during the Summer School Holidays is free and suitable for all ages. The grounds of the Grade 11 listed Manor House include a 9 hole, par 3 pitch & putt, 3 well stocked fishing lakes and tennis courts. It is located only 0.5 of a mile from the Wenford Bridge access to the Camel Trail and in a good position for exploring attractions such as The Eden Project, Bodmin Jail & Jamaica Inn. The nearest surfing beach is at Polzeath, but Daymer Bay, Rock, Port Isaac, Trebarwith and Boscastle are easily reached by car. The pretty village of Tintagel is about 8 miles away where it is possible to trace the footsteps of King Arthur. On the other side of the Camel estuary is Padstow with its picturesque harbour, restaurants and golden sandy beaches. A drive along the coast to Newquay reveals more beautiful beaches at Trevone, Harlyn, Constantine Bay and Treyarnon. The costal scenery in this area is spectacular with a stop at Bedruthan Steps recommended. In addition to the North Coast, it is only about 30 miles to reach the channel coast where a visit to Fowey, Charlestown and Mevagissey is inspiring. Very compact inside but it had everything we needed We didnt use the passes that were there or facilities for Hengar manor but a nice option if needed Only improving thing i would suggest is the bungalow number "69" is moved to a more prominent position as its tucked away high and not easy to see above a hugh bush too .. It was warm, quiet and had comfortable beds, and it is obvious the owner takes pride in what she offers the hiolidaymaker because all the equipment and furnishing supplied is of a good standard. It is located within easy reach of the main attractions of North Cornwall, and there are beautiful countryside walks to be enjoyed within a short distance of the property, including a number of garden centres and farm shops. Wi fi is available within the leisure centre on site, and we had reasonable reception on our mobile. The little pitch and putt course was enjoyable, and the shop whilst small, does stock all the basic groceries and a little more. It’s on a Haven Holidays site, giving the best of both worlds. You can have a quiet holiday to yourself or use the facilities, which include swimming pool, bar, restaurant, entertainment, shop, tennis and even an escape room. The owner could not have been more helpful before and during our stay, and furnished the property to a high standard. The beds were comfortable. The shower was spacious. The site would clearly have much to offer families, but with the schools back, the swimming pool, pitch'n'putt and crazy golf were nearly empty giving a free run when on site!
