"It was very nice but we ended up leaving our dogs in our van b cause all the hotels are wanting pet fees now. Also the bed could have been bigger as we are two very tall people. But overall we enjoyed our stay and the town but dint like the dog fees, which Mexico didn’t use to have, until they learned it from the uptight USA"

"We had a wonderful stay with pleasant staff, breakfast across the street, close to shopping and places to see. A few things need upgrading such as door knobs, the safe needs a digital upgrade, the toilet leaks at the back pipe. We were right on the ocean and that is a bonus. Thank you."

"Had a nice stay at Hotel Sarabi. Did not know that there was not an ATM in Barra, or that the hotel did not accept credit cards (should've read the fine print closer!). But the Hotel Staff were very accommodating and willing to give us some time to get the cash to pay for the room. Was able to communicate alright with my basic Spanish, but the folks at the hotel did not seem to know much English (so a heads up if you do not speak Spanish, be ready to use a translator app or something). The room was simple and fairly minimal as far as luxuries go, but it had everything we needed. Was a nice place to come back to after a day out and about. Great value for the price and a very convenient location. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Barra."
