What a wonderful large house with lots of room for our yearly family gathering. The house was super clean. We enjoyed the large kitchen for meals and watching the wildlife from the kitchen table. Beautiful pool set up with lounge chairs, tables and chairs, umbrellas and pool floats plus ample pool towels. Check out was super easy and the host was very responsive. The house is well positioned for visits to wineries, breweries, hiking and more. All the family agreed it was the best week.

Management offsite in beautiful location

Great property for large groups - ample bedrooms and bathrooms for all. Well stocked kitchen. Lots of wildlife and a nice pool for relaxing. The staff were quick to respond and assist with any needs. Will definitely be back!

This place is the best place we have stayed in within 50 miles of this house. It was just perfect. All remodeled, beautiful backdrop of the country, great pool that was always heated perfectly.Loved this place so much and we will book again!

Amazing Stay

Our family had an incredible time at this VRBO. The house was spotless and very well stocked and maintained.The pool was a major highlight, crystal clear, and perfect for both kids and adults to enjoy.The view from the backyard was absolutely stunning and we were lucky enough to spot a family of deer with two adorable fawns almost every day! It felt like a peaceful retreat, surrounded by nature. Highly recommend this property, we’d come back in a heartbeat

Perfect for Our Stay

We are a group of 5 women and needed a place for a business retreat that was spacious and comfortable. We were very happy with this property. Plenty of space for our meetings and a private bedroom and bath for each women. Kitchen is well stocked and good restaurants nearby. Very clean house. Comfortable bedding.

Wonderful experience

We have booked the property for 3 nights, to celebrate the New Year eve. The house was very well maintained, fully equipped, clean and we even had a decorated Christmas tree. We would definitely consider it for another vacation and recommend to friends.

great place for a family gathering

We has a weekend mini-reunion for your family here to celebrate a milestone birthday, and it was an ideal place -- a wonderful house, spacious and well appointed, in beautiful setting. We enjoyed using the large and equipped kitchen for cooking elaborate meals.

Mountain Oasis

Perfect property for our annual holiday weekend getaway for four couples. Beautiful views. Spacious home with ample space for everyone and a gourmet kitchen which we used to make dinners. Highly recommend.

A Spacious Home with a View

What a lovely home to gather family together all under one roof! The rooms are spacious and bright. I love the wall of windows in the kitchen area. The pool table, tabletop shuffleboard and the fire pit are great additions for providing a range of activities. We really appreciated the ext ra full sized refrigerator and kitchen on the third floor. So we could store groceries safely. The house was a bit chilly at times as the thermostat was not responsive to a change from set temperature. The home is well decorated for family groups, comfortable and easy to find a spot to relax! I was not familiar with the Google main ipad. Instructions would be helpful.

Wonderful Property, Beautiful Location

Comfortable, charming, fully renovated/restored home in a gorgeous, historically rich setting! We spent a perfect fall weekend there with family and enjoyed the spacious property and local food, drinks, hiking, scenery and more! Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

A Great Property with Plenty of Space

We traveled from Missouri to Virginia to host an engagement party for our daughter. We had family joining us from NJ & NC that we hadn’t seen in years. We wanted a place big enough for everyone traveling to stay together instead of getting separate hotel rooms. The house was exactly as advertised. Super spacious and clean. Everyone felt comfortable including our dog. Everyone had their own room and bathroom and our adult children enjoyed playing pool while the older crowd spent time socializing in the living room or gathered in the spacious kitchen. We had a few minor issues like figuring out the heating/cooling on the 2nd floor when we arrived late in the evening but got a quick response from Leslie and got it figured out. We also had some issues with the televisions turning off and on by themselves and the remotes not working but we weren’t there to watch tv so it wasn’t that big of a deal. We loved being able to read the history of the house, the peaceful view and seeing all the deer in the backyard from the kitchen windows. We had a busy trip but the house made for a very relaxing get away and we will definitely consider coming back to this property when traveling to Virginia. Everyone loved it!

Thoroughly enjoyable!

The weather was fantastic. We were there for our son's wedding. Everyone liked the house setup. Daughters from San Diego don't get to see deer often. The back yard with 14 deer at times was a great view. A few of us with Adroids and Verizon ISP had challenges with Wi-Fi, but that was a small issue. We really enjoyed our stay. Androids

August Family Gathering

What a lovely home for our family gathering. My 3 adult children, their spouses, and my 7 grands were all under one roof and the home was the perfect setting. There is plenty of room to spread out and accommodate all, especially the amazing kitchen (well supplied), living and family rooms. Each bedroom is large and comfortable. The bathrooms are beautiful, spacious, and supplied with high quality linens. We loved the pool, although due to cooler weather mid-August, missed 2 days of pool time. The kids and grownups enjoyed running around and playing in the large yard, too. There are so many fun things to do nearby including the Great Country Farms, Bear Chase Brewery, and numerous wineries. Great new playground behind the Community Center in Bluemont. Although not terribly far from DC, once you drive past Dulles, it feels like you're in the middle of the Appalachians. Beautiful home in a spectacular setting.

Great time at a great house

Had a great time hosting my bachelor party at this house with 12 guys including myself. The house was clean and spacious enough for everyone to stay comfortably, and had a ton of great amenities for a fun party, including a pool table, heated pool, multiple TVs, huge yard for yard games, and a fire pit. Everyone had a great time. Only complaint was there was a pretty active Yellowjacket nest outside by the deck so if you are seriously allergic or really sensitive to that then it’s something to keep in mind

Clean and spacious vacation home

The house was perfect for us. There are multiple spots to gather - or have some quiet time. The house was super-clean and well-stocked. We enjoyed visiting nearby towns, especially the pedestrian mall in Winchester. Also the Ball's Bluff Battlefield Regional Park in Leesburg was excellent, for those interested in the Civil War.
