The cabin had great views, but everything inside seemed to be falling apart. Beds were super uncomfortable, some appliances didn’t work and there were leaks in the bathroom. We spent most of our days relaxing around the cabin, enjoying the game room (pool, darts) and watching the sun set from the hot tub. We did venture into town (downtown Blue Ridge, lots of shops, restaurants, breweries, etc.) and Mercier Orchards which were not far at all from the cabin. Gorgeous view from the back deck and from inside the cabin. It was clean and nicely decorated. It wasn’t cluttered. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. The road is paved to get there and it is near neighbors. It is only about 10 mins to downtown Blue Ridge or the Lake. The back deck is not screened in so you might want to bring some bug spray.
