We would love to go back in the future!If there's one thing I'd say negatively, it is that the listing said there is a TV in the upstairs master bedroom. However, there was not. Dec 28, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Christmas getaway reunion Our family lives in all four corners of the US, and although only our eastern family were able to meet with us at this Blue Ridge cabin, I would say we could all say, we had one of the best Christmas ever!! The cabin was perfect, great location, close to necessities, yet in the mountain woods with even a lake view. Clean, well stocked, plenty of wood for fireplace that we kept going. We never ate out, but did all our cooking there. Sandra’s kitchen had everything for cooking and baking including the spices, sugar, salt, pepper, roasting pans, cookie sheets etc. Her home was nicely decorated with Christmas decor and we even had Christmas dishes for our Christmas dinner. The setup of bedrooms was excellent with the master on the top level and the kids/teenagers on the bottom next to the game room. The pool table was the biggest hit as well as coloring books and puzzles in the loft area for the littles. We all decided it was a place we could definitely come back to. Three decks! (Private desk off master bedroom on 2nd floor, basement deck is screen-enclosed.) Very comfortable. 4 bunk beds in the basement, so bring the kids. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely, tucked in nature, but close to everything. We were minutes from everything in Blue Ridge. So much fun We were a family group from 18 to 60 years aloof and even with the crazy super cold winter we had so much fun. The game room, sauna and hot tub was a great bonus. We enjoyed the open concept on main floor with large island. The kitchen had all the cooking items. The location was perfect! The kitchen is fully stocked, the cabin was very clean and has a ton of space. We enjoyed playing many games, pool and using the hot tub and sauna. The deck has a great view on Lake Blue Ridge.
