Main level with Cathedral ceiling, Wall switch Stone Fireplace that is super easy to use, Bedroom suite w/ Private attached Bath & half Bath off living-room, covered back Porches spanning the length of the Cabin. Upper level Bedroom suite w/ private balcony & loft for additional sleeping. Terrace level w/ rec room opening out to more covered Porches with Huge Hot Tub! Our cabin is very Dog friendly and very clean; in excellent condition. This gorgeous cabin is in a private wooded setting, but SUPER easy to get to with paved road just off the highway 5/515\. We are literally 2.4 miles from the heart of downtown Blue Ridge and the property sits on a private 1.5 acre tree filled lot with thick vegetation surroundings. There are no other homes in view. We have paid close attention to detail and included the creature comforts you would expect from a higher end cabin rental. You will find luxury linens, supple leather seating, sprawling across the large main floor living area with the second bedroom and open loft above opening to the stacked stone fireplace. Our cabin is over 2600 square feet of quality built cabin. It is perfect for families or a couple’s getaway with a loved one or your group of friends up to eight. All TV's are smart and equipped with Cable television channels. The upstairs master has a brand new King size bed that overlooks an amazing view. There is a 65" smart TV when its time to unwind. There is a loft with a brand new wrap around couch with recliners for extra sleeping. The downstairs bedroom has a brand new King size bed with a 50" TV and has a full bath. There is a 50"' HD flat screen smart TV in the Living room. If you are a mountain biker, contact us to get the lowdown on the best trails in the area. Adjacent to the porch is a brand new hot tub and propane grill. YES, We have a top of the line Keurig coffee maker that makes coffee by the cup or by the pot . Did I mention the free WiFi? The good 500 mb kind of speed WiFi, not the typical DSL speeds found outside the city limits! Oh, and there is a fire pit. Our reviews speak for themselves! We strive to make the reservation process easy and work hard to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. We welcome you to our Calico Cabin! ⛰ Horseback riding, zip-line through the mountain trees daily train rides to see fall foliage, river tubing, hiking trails, world renowned trout fishing, mountain biking or just a stroll to a waterfall; Blue Ridge and the Ellijay's offer adventure and relaxation everyone will love! Our cabin is just a few miles from everyone's favorite apple picking spots and farms like Mercier's Orchard, and 2 minutes from trailheads. The Appalachian Trail is a short drive away if you want a grand challenge. If you are traveling with a pet: We do allow two DOGS under 50lbs if you disclose that they will be coming with you to the cabin. Our Pet fee is $65 for your entire stay. We provide a crate/kennel/ food bowls and even some toys for you to use when you are leaving the cabin. PLEASE do not leave your pet loose in our home while you are out! NO CATS allowed, as we are allergic. Have a registered service animal? Please submit your registration card. Being minutes away from downtown Blue ridge, Georgia gives you access two local attractions. BR scenic railway, Bigfoot excursion, Appalachian trails horseback, Blue ridge off-road adventures to name a few. In addition to the numerous dining experiences. Our host was very responsive answering questions and providing helpful recommendations for our time in the Blue Ridge area. We are very picky about the places we stay, and this cabin exceeded our expectations. I look for comfortable beds. Covered porches with good seating. Newer hot tub. Good road with easy access to the cabin not far off a main road. Location not too steep and not requiring a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Private location. Lovely view from the outside porches. Propane grill. Adequately supplied kitchen for cooking. This cabin met all the requirements. As it turned out, it rained the entire week that we were there, but I had a wonderful stay. Because the cabin was so well designed, we read books, sat outside on the porches enjoying the fall leaves and cool weather, enjoyed the hot tub, cooked all our meals, and never left the cabin until we checked out. And it was wonderful. The cabin is 3 levels with a bedroom and bath on each level, so it would be perfect for 3 couples or to give kids their own floor. The layout of the cabin is perfect for 3 couples ( even though it was just my hubs & I) one bedroom per floor, each with a full bath. We enjoyed eating meals on the balcony overlooking the tree tops on the hill. It was close enough to town to make going to the grocery store and downtown Blue Ridge very convenient. The beds were comfortable and it was nicely set up for us and our small dog. It is on a somewhat steep gravel road that got a bit rugged after a heavy rain storm. Our group of 8 had plenty of space to relax and sleep comfortably. The cabin itself was beautiful and cozy, with the balconies and swings offering great spots to unwind. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and even had a fun night around the fire pit making s'mores. Every room, from the kitchen and bathrooms to the bedrooms and living areas, was fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Cabin is conveniently located close to downtown, and stores like Walmart are also not too far. Jim, the host, is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone, specially large groups, looking for a peaceful, cozy, and well-equipped retreat that is minutes away from all the stores and restaurants. ##### Maryfer D. Beautiful views from all 3 decks. Cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It is also pet friendly which was perfect for us. Séjour de 4 nuits en mai 2025 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Laura A. 3 mai 2025 Points forts : Propreté #### Comfy dog friendly cabin We took our dog with us so we loved how dog friendly the cabin was; the porches have gates so she could walk around while we sat outside without worrying she would wander off property, and they had a crate there so we didn't have to transport one on our drive. It was just my husband and dog so we only slept in the top bedroom, but the cabin would be great for multiple couples because each bedroom had its own level. Was great location for us being our first visit to Blue Ridge because its like 7 minutes from the town. Most hiking trails are within 20-30 minutes. It's Spring so its mostly a wooded view with the tops of some mountains in view. We slept with the screen door open on our balcony which was lovely to wake up to the birds singing, and the sound of the Spring rain. We loved the porch swing. I will say Jim is a very responsive host, replying within minutes to any questions. We would definitely rent from any of his properties again. One thing to keep in mind is the basement level is like a good 10 degrees cooler than the top level, so if staying with multiple couples you will want the people who like it coldest to stay below and the ones who like it warmer on the top floor.
