"We had a very nice stay .Room was clean and staff very friendly. Pool was open 24 hours , so took advatage and went in at 5:00 on the day we left. Then had a nice breakfast . The chef was really friendly and kept the food coming."

"Lorraine is a great host, providing so many small touches that make your stay so comfortable. The house is cozy but not cramped The mattress was also very comfortable. The winding staircase is tight and could be an issue for some so keep that in mind. The location is quiet and peaceful"

"We enjoyed our stay at your condo, especially the view. Just wanted to let you know that the remote for the dvd player needs batteries and the coffee maker didn’t work properly. The coffee didn’t flow out right and it overflowed. Other than that, everything was as described. We hope to stay at your beautiful condo again."

"This was such a peaceful, perfect location with an incredible view up on the mountain! It was like an escape from the real world and felt so refreshing. My gaming-obsessed 12 year old son said he would give up games if we could move there 😂 The hosts were great and very responsive and we had no issues with anything. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The first night we were there we made tinfoil dinners on the campfire and then s'mores afterwards. The stars are amazing outside of the city lights. The little kitchenette is more than adequate for basic meals but not for making anything too involved. I didn't have a kitchen knife to cut veggies but made due with a butter knife. I'm positive if I asked the host they would have responded promptly but I didn't feel it necessary. We went to a Safari in Natural Bridge which I would highly recommend, especially with kids. Downtown Lexington was only like 15-20 minutes away and we had a nice lunch there. We went fishing at a local trout farm and my son caught his first fish which we cooked at the cabin and was a fun experience. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we plan to go back. Thank you both so much!"

"We had the most wonderful stay in the mountains. The entire house was very accommodating. My youngest especially loved having his own area in the loft. The hike off the property was great and the kids loved hanging down at the creek. The hot tub was especially nice after all the hiking we did. And the views…drinking coffee on the porch was the best. We will definitely book again in the future."

"Historic home with recent updates. Many nice amenities set this home apart. A pool, hiking trail, swing, multiple firepits, a freezer with ice cream! Our room #4 was very nice and comfortable but the bathroom is a little small. They had a coffee bar with probably 30 different kinds of coffee. "
