It was an easy walk to Main Street and Bistro Roca, where we had dinner. The Cottage was tidy and cozy although we had trouble finding the thermometer the first night, but host answer the call on the first ring. Location is great, it was extremely clean, and had all the extras we could ask for - including Famous Amos cookies! The cottage is a 2 bedroom 1 bath which is perfect for privacy. It was clean and quaint. The location is within walking distance of everything we wanted. We were iced in for a day and half and hiked and explored the other day and half. I never felt like we were restless. It was a true R and R trip.The staff especially the manager Karen was always available and so friendly. Her recommendation of the Mint Indian Cuisine in Boone was spot on.
