"We were SO glad we chose the Chateau. From front desk check in till check out the next day, this is truly one of the most awesome spots to stay. Very clean; floor was quiet; room was large, high ceilings, awesome chandelier in the room; internet/tv was perfect; the bathroom was large and the free breakfast was awesome, home cooked cheesy eggs, sausage, and lots more; PLUS guests were given tables with tablecloths; it was very nice! The prices for rooms were VERY reasonable, I've already shared with friends and if we get back to Bloomington again there is no way we'd stay anywhere else! PLUS the building is breathtaking in decor; the hotel also hosts weddings, events and more...I can see why!!"

"We weren’t there very much. It’s a nice place and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It’s a very convenient location with a nice restaurant attached. My only complaint is even with the room temp turned down to 64, it was still too warm"

"The staff was great. My daughter left her baby blanket in the room when we checked out. Never fear, the gentlemen who works behind the welcome desk, found it. The blanket had been washed and was with the clean laundry. He saved us days of misery. I believe his name started with a D, I am sorry I don’t recall. I believe he was the only African-American man working behind the counter that weekend. Great guy!"

"Checkin was very smooth considering we made Expedia reservations 20 minutes prior to arrival. The room did not represent the Expedia rating very well. Built-in furniture looked a little beat up, the paint on epoxy on the tub had be walked-off down the middle making it look dirty, shower curtain had stains, which my wife said looked like blood. The caulking on the outside of tub was worn and looking like mold was forming. The barh towels and floor mat were either dirty or needed to be rewashed. However the beds were clean and comfy, the breakfast was good and the area seemed very safe."
