« Lovely little house, well placed tucked away from the main thoroughfare. Pub/Chinese restaurant, fish and chip shop and a corner shop all within 50 yards of the property. Center of Christchurch is a 15 minute walk. Owners are quick to respond to any questions. We did find the hot water system was a bit temperamental, however we were informed that it was due for a service. »

« This was an ideal location for us to attend a family gathering in nearby Wimborne. A very busy main road but as the property was located away from this we had no road noise. Very close (walking distance) to a good range of local shops. Probably use again. »

« My sister and I loved the house: comfy beds and furniture, well appointed kitchen (although we mostly ate out), tasteful decor. We loved the close proximity to the shops, amenities and beach, since we both have limited mobility. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and can imagine it would suit a family really well. (Rather steep staircases though!) Highly recommended. »

« I have spent 20 years visiting the New Forrest for holidays and I wish I had found this place before, it is a gem. The owner Chris was extremely welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked another stay for later on this year while we were there. I cannot recommend this location highly enough. »

« Property was perfect for our gathering. Decor was fantastic and full of personality. Personalised reception was appreciated. Endless rooms with different combinations of bed to suit everyone. Kitchen table comfortably fitted 12 for dinner. Bathrooms a little basic. Working fireplace was a lovely touch. We had a fantastic celebration and this property was a big part of that. »

« Lovely property full of character, but what sets it apart is the beautiful location on the edge of the National Trust estate. Such a lovely setting. Communication with the owner was excellent, and it was very reasonably priced compared to other options we looked at. Highly recommend! »

« Très calme, très bien aménagé, accueil très cordial, je recommande vivement cette location. L'appartement a été refait et équipé récemment, l'ameublement est chaleureux, les équipements tout à fait pratiques. Mais ce que nous avons le plus apprécié est le calme parfait du lieu, en pleine campagne mais néanmoins pratique et bien situé pour visiter ce coin d'Angleterre. Un grand merci à nos hôtes ! »

"I was having breakfast and A staff member wouldn’t let me leave the restaurant before I paid when you usually pay at checkout. She chased me as I was leaving the restaurant and made me feel like a thieve. On top of that, the staff at the reception made my wife pay a second time for the same breakfast! Then we had to go back and forth to prove that we had already paid and obtain a refund! Outrageous!"
