"The staff was friendly and efficient. We were greeted in a manner that included support if we needed anything not supplied. The room and bathroom were clean and the beds fresh and clean. The pillows were perfect. I do not write this in a superficial tone. We had a stay in another hotel chain recently that was a disaster for our entire party. Lack of cleanliness can quickly and decisively ruin a trip. Thank you, Best Western "

"The hotel's a little bit dated. The rooms could use some updating. overall it was clean, and just ok. Theres a mustiness that i couldn’t pin. Not many options in area so probably sufficient for one night stay."

"The castle was beautiful. Exquisite decore, game room, and Jess went over and above any other other place we've stayed in the past. Prior to arriving she checked on any food allergies that may effect our breakfast. She made excellent suggestions for dinner, when she found it was our anniversary, she had left a bottle of wine, and an anniversary card next to the bed. So many other little personal extras made our stay so pleasant. We have never had a more pleasant experience. "

"We wanted to explore a new town on the way to our final destination. We found this delightful downtown spot rich with history. We also loved the attention to detail and added amenities. "3rd time stayed here and great as usual. Would stay again. I rarely ever have issues with the hotels/motels themselves. It’s the other guests which are usually the issue with their lack of awareness to the noise they create. Or, in this case, the dog(s) they travel with that constantly bark when they leave them alone in the room. Not the dog’s fault, was probably anxious. This was in room right next to me so no way to cover that sound with anything else. Will just request next time to maybe not place me in a room where there will be dogs right nearby if possible. The amusing part about it…this dog was barking like it was trying to say “I love you” 😄. Also, the AC/Heat unit is in the entry room only so may take some setting of the fan on high to get air back toward the bedroom on hotter days. I haven’t had any comfort issues with this myself though."
