The host was very communicative even in the late evening as we were arriving. The cabin was just as described and the scenery even more beautiful then pictured. It was just enough room for two with a big fire place and a very comfortable bed. Everything was so rustic and cute we really couldn't have asked for anything more. It was so quiet and private. I love listening to the river outside the front door. Experienced a little snow fall. Just the kind of environment I was looking for to tune in and tune out. We aired it out, which seemed to help. When I booked this property, I remember seeing it had cable and Wi-Fi. Upon arrival, the cable was unhooked, and a fire stick was in the tv instead, and getting live stations was difficult. The Wi-Fi was weak, as we had difficulty sending and receiving emails. A new sofa and a more comfortable bed would be nice. We enjoyed outside tremendously, while the weather was nice. ##### Suzanne K. The cabin is a little slice of heaven, and I am already planning to book again next year. My bf stayed with my the first 3 days, and I stayed solo with the pup for the remainder of the week. It really is perfect for both!!! Wish it was safer to walk closer to the river. Overall very welcoming place though, close to Hickory Run which rules. ##### Ron P. Pa, in the midst of incredible natural beauty of oak forest, river and waterfalls, and deep quiet that allowed us to hear the sounds of nature. The cabin itself is a delight, esp. the fireplace for evening relaxation. There is an ambiance of stepping back into a time gone-by. We recommend it heartily! ##### Linda G.
