The trail along the bay was a great place to walk. There were thoughtful touches like firewood, s'more supplies, shampoos and body washes waiting for us. The chairs, firepit and bay are as lovely as they look in the picture. The cottage is across the street from the beach and has its own private area with a fire pit and beach chairs. However, the view from the cottage was amazing as well. Large windows provided a marvelous open view. The cottage is an easy walking distance to the local grocery store and Baywood Cafe - which is where we had breakfast every morning. There is a hard packed trail along the beach that takes you there. What a cute cottage - great full size /compact kitchen, dining room table, 2 bedrooms, bathroom with laundry. Everything was so very clean. The decor was nicely done - perfect for those that don't want clutter. The sound of the waves, shore birds and lovely salt air only added to the beach ambiance.
