The home is a wonderful space to come back to after a day of Football or outdoor adventures. Large property offers privacy and tranquility but is a close drive to Downtown Blacksburg. The outdoor beauty and spacious home make this a great place to stay all year long! We want to make sure you have the utmost convenience! You'll be provided an access code to the main entrance prior to check-in. The owners are local, and will be able to be reached by phone, text, or email, during the duration of your stay. Oilwell is conveniently located just a short drive from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg and Radford University, making it an ideal location for families visiting students or attending university events. Virginia Tech is approximately a 10-minute drive, and Radford University is approximately a 29-minute drive. The charming town of Blacksburg, VA, is only a short drive from the Oilwell House and offers a variety of shops, restaurants, and local attractions. You'll find everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, including grocery stores, pharmacies, and medical facilities. Whether you're visiting the local universities or exploring the town of Blacksburg, Oilwell House is the perfect home base for all your adventures. Book your stay today! All areas of the home and property are open for guests use except for the garage which is used for owner storage. This 4-bedroom, 2 full bath, 1 half-bath house features an open living space with large bedrooms for up to 6 guests. The home offers a cozy feel while having a lot of room and open space. The kitchen and dining area looks out to the back yard and sunroom, which can be accessed through the main living space. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, sink and island for preparing food. The kitchen is filled with plenty of cookware, plates and items to make your stay comfortable: Keurig, Toaster and Large Refrigerator. There is a half-bath located at the bottom of the stairs. Master bedroom is located upstairs with a King bed and master bathroom. There are two bedrooms upstairs with Queen beds and another bedroom with two twin beds. Additionally, there is a full bathroom located in the upstairs hallway. Laundry room is located on the lower-level and features washer and dryer and is equipped with detergent and cleaning supplies. There is a half-bath on this level as well along with a pool table for guest entertainment. An outdoor hangout area can be accessed through the lower-level living area. Approximately 1.64 miles from Merrimac Road (Route 657). The property offers parking accommodations for guests, with space available for up to four vehicles in the driveway. \- Pets are allowed, but an additional pet fee is required, so pets must be included on reservation. \- Home has WIFI and connection is strong \- Absolutely no parties allowed any parties will result in a canceled reservation and immediately being asked to leave \-Garage is not included in rental \- Fireplaces are not to be used by guests. \- Pets allowed with additional $100 pet fee. \- The yard is fenced in, to close it off completely you must shut the front gate at the driveway. \- Coffee Maker (Regular & Keurig) \-Propane (for grill use): 1\. There MAY BE a propane tank available at the house. 2\. If you see a tank, you may use it for the grill. 3\. If the tank is empty, guests are responsible for refilling it. 4\. We loved the house and its location. The house was very clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the screened in porch! House is nicely decorated with fun basement and backyard, comfortable beds and plenty of space for our alumni daughters and their families. Family room and kitchen were where we spent the most time cooking and sharing meals, listening to music. It was nice quality time with our family all together. On the main level, there is also a screened porch and a small unscreened portion off the kitchen. We enjoyed sitting out there on several occasions. Didn't have the chance to use the firepit downstairs outback but had plenty of wood if weather cooperated (windy). We did use the grill that is provided to cook chicken thighs for our spring game tailgate. Grandkids also enjoyed the pool table in the basement. We highly recommend for those interested in proximity to campus but the ability to return to the peace and quiet of this cozy cottage with plenty of room for the whole family. ##### Ginger H.
