The home is minutes from downtown Blacksburg, about two hours from New River Gorge Nat'l Park, and there is plenty of beautiful country in any direction you choose to go, which made it a great home base for our visit. Very well stocked kitchen and baths. Plenty of room with large open kitchen/dining/living room area. Close to VT campus but on a quiet, rural road. Nice back patio for taking in the sun. Anything we needed for light cooking was available. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio overlooking a wooded yard where deer often walked by. Our kids slept in a room with two twin beds. The other bedrooms both have king beds. The size of the home was perfect for 4 adults and 2 children for our 4 day stay. All of the furniture, linens, decor and house goods were all brand new.
