Close to Va Tech

Pros: Close to Va Tech
Cons: Need to overhaul internet so it is available in the rooms.
Staff pleasant, room decently clean, but internet does not work in the rooms! They switched us to a room "closer" to the router, but still no internet available all weekend.

Avoid, there is availability for a reason

Pros: It had availability in Blacksburg when no other hotels did
Ashes on the bathroom floor, food in the fridge, stained sheets... cancelled our future reservation here

Hotel is old and dirty.

Cons: Cleanliness needs to be improved as well as replacing furniture, linen, rugs.
Location: Close to Virginia Tech and stores.
The hotel is old and dirty. The cleaning staff never cleaned our room. The garbage was not emptied. The beds were not made. A wet towel was replaced on the tub. There were dying bugs in the bathroom. The television reception was fuzzy. It truly needs to be upgraded for the price they are charging.

We reserved a king nonsmoking room and were given a king smoking room. We would have left but there were no other rooms available in the area.

Hotel convenient to VT.

Cons: Updating would certainly improve overall appearance.
Location: There to enroll college student
Staff very helpful and friendly, overall room outdated and not very clean. Mold and cracking tub and shower area, smelled horribly of smoke.

The hotel and the paint is old the look

Cons: They need update everything sheets look old the comforter is ugly the mattress doesn't have cover

Disgusting. Health risk.

We requested a nonsmoking room due to asthmatic children, and got a nonsmoking room that reeked of cigarettes. People were smoking outside our room, and in the rooms next to us. The room was disgusting, and I wouldn't let the kids walk around barefoot. The bathtub was cracked and peeling, and the shower had little water pressure. If every hotel in the area wasn't full, we would have made reservations elsewhere. We will never return.
