Do not go by the photos. It is nothing like the photo's. The rooms are grubby, the windows havent seen a wash since the building was put up. Music blares from both inside and outside the hotel all hours, people hold full blown conversations outside your room at 4am and get cranky when you ask them to tone it down. At night there are fights outside with bottles smashing and shouting etc. This isnt the hotels fault but i cant see how its family friendly. Also £1.20 for a small bottle of water is absolutely extortionate, walk a few yards up on the left and u get 3 x that size for £1. I was so miserable that whilst my husband showered i packed our bags and we left. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone unless u want to party as that is all that its fit for

Disappointing
The reception area was untidy and you had to go through what looked like a laundry roon to go to the toilet my brother had no sleep due to the bed being to hard and when he said they put a mattress topper onand said it1 was the best they could do it made no difference to his night sleep ,and no remotes for there tv's so you couldn't even watch tv

The heating didn’t work no hot water and they was a leak in the room 204 from the ceiling all over my cloths so had to travel home in wet ones and now I’m poorly

Ulækkert værelse med flinkt personale
Der var meget beskidt & værelserne er i meget ringe stand og fremstår “ulækkert” der er mug i badet, pletter på dynen, pletter på gulvtæpperne og meget lidt varmt vand, til at bade i. De flyttede mig til et andet værelse efter første nat.

Smell of Gas manage not interested
After checking my room reported the shower head was filthy I was told this would be replaced. Next day reported it again was told it would be sorted, it was not cleaned or replaced during my stay. The place stunk of sewage, the resident next door opened my door during the night with their key, a garden shed is more secure than the room doors here. Other members of my family reported stains on the bed sheets they were not changed despite been told they would be. I reported a smell of gas in the bar area (also noticed by the other residents) was told it had been checked out earlier and it was an old gas smell caused by the renovation works! Explained I was not happy so the person on the bar/reception phoned the manager who spoke to me on the phone said it had been checked out and it was okay. I said he should get it checked again he refused to call out the gas people! I did not feel safe in the hotel that night and left the next day. I sent a letter of complaint to the hotel they did not reply. On reporting anything at reception there is a different person on duty each day they say the will sort it however they don’t write anything down. Asked about the entertainment was told starts at 8.00pm guess what No entertainment they took the sign down saying there was entertainment down after that. Work area near the lounge area was not closed off not good for children who could walk into that area. If you look at the reviews on here you will see lots of complaints about the sam

good and bad!
Room was a bit tight to get into due to large wardrobe,couldn't close the window, the toilet light was behind the wardrobe, the kettle was on the floor so the carpet was wet round about it and there was a lamp at the side of the bed that you couldn't use as there was no where to plug it in. The bed was clean and comfy and the breakfast was great as was the location. First impressions were that it could have been a bit cleaner carpets needed a good hoover. Would return if this issue was addressed and we got a different room!

Hotel feo y abandonado
Después de llegar al hotel y encontrar que estaba cerrado, vemos un cartel donde pone que nos atenderán en otro hotel unos 200 metros más arriba. Contraté este hotel porque ponía a diferencia de otros que tenía wifi en las habitaciones , y al que nos mandaron no tenía wifi. Fue viaje de trabajo y nos fastidiaron bastante las tardes para pasar informes. Al menos a este hotel ni volveré ni recomendare a nadie que vaya.

Great staff in a hotel that needs a good cleaning
It seems like Blackpool is filled with these types of hotels: old, somewhat run-down buildings managed by very friendly folks who have the best intentions. Either guests feel guilty to complain about the smelly hallway carpets and grimy bathrooms, because the owners are so nice, or the owners just don't see it that way. There's nightly entertainment, with music, bingo and trivia games, which is a good way to socialize with the staff the other guests. I have to say that I enjoyed my stay, but was very forgiving of the hotel's shortcomings due to the personality of the management.
