Stayed 3 nights, gated property, very safe, very friendly customer service. Villas are very secluded and have excellent ocean view from sun deck and room balcony, private infinity pool overlooking ocean and tropical forestry was amazing. Highly recommend.

The ataff here are so warm and welcming. The villia has the most breathtaking view. The entire time the ambiance here was just so peaceful. A definate perfect

Loved the privacy/seclusion, exactly what we wanted during covid times. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed at the time (TT restrictions) so getting food was a bit of a challenge for us but we didn't make it into a problem. Did not like the lack of communication prior to our stay regarding no availability of restaurant and room service (restaurants could have be opened for take-away but not for dining in at the time). I had to specifically ask to find this out. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Doubt it would be my last stay there 🙂

Villa at Stonehaven
The location, scenery and original set-up are grand. However and probably due to the pandemic regulations, no resort amenities, not even breakfast or refreshments were available. Clearly, the location needs substantial reinvestment and refurbishing to just qualify for 2-star level. While the 3 staff we encountered were friendly and trying to be helpful, overall cleanliness and state of interior were poor. Even during a pandemic state, a villa unit should not come with 3 hangers only, though we got more after asking. All appliances were very dated and tired. In short, the nightly room rate of USD500/night is grossly out of proportion to what is on offer.

Modernization required for price
This review is written with my girlfriend. Stunning property with panoramic views of the ocean, however the villa requires a lot of upgrades for the price point. Given the immense potential of the property and experience it is a shame that investment hasn’t been done to increase the standard. A couple of desirable upgrades would include: an automatic gate at the entrance, re-leveling + manicuring of the driveways and outfitting the villas with more modern finishings (shower pressure needs addressing). Trying to be cognizant of the current pandemic however we read similar reviews from a guest in 2018. Overall we were quite comfortable and enjoyed the kitchen, lounging in the outdoor patio, garden areas and infinity pool. We also felt very safe and secluded.

The villa is located in a picturesque area in Black Rock. The elevation offers unique and breathtaking views of Stonehaven Bay Area. We stayed in Villa 9 which was the highest elevated villa and were immediately impressed by the views offered. The villa had a wonderful layout with an impressive patio area overlooking the view. The villa is good but a bit dated with shower pressures being a bit low. The pool was also smaller than we expected. We weren’t sure whether some misinterpretation led to us not receiving new towels each day during our 3 day visit of whether this was the norm. We were a bit disappointed by this. It’s an excellent villa if you prefer relaxing and lounging. Would recommend.

We spent 6 days here and loved every minute. The private villa pool and the arrangement of the outdoor space with covered living and dining areas next to the pool made us very lazy about leaving the villa at all. Service was excellent in the restaurant; the housekeeper, Amrell, was very discreet and helpful, and I can't say enough about how great Germaine, the evening/night receptionist was. One evening I needed some medicine and she connected us to a pharmacy and phoned our villa twice subsequently to see if I had obtained the med and how I was doing - outstanding!

Very friendly general manager, but this was not enough to detract from some pretty major issues, especially considering the price. 1. No air conditioning in the living areas, only in the bedrooms 2. The air conditioners In the bedroom were VERY noisy, even on low fan 3. The pool wasn't cleaned during our stay, so slowly filled with leaves 4. The housekeeper is with you 9am-2pm and really gives no regard to your privacy - it's very strange, and doesn't offer any material benefit 5. The shower was terrible. A dribble of water. 6. No breakfast served on the property 7. Lots of mosquitos. We were bitten very badly.

Carl Thank you for your review. 1. There is no air conditioners in the living room. It is designed to be that way. All the bedrooms are air-conitioned. 2. The air conditioners in the bedrooms are brand new and perhaps you are not accustomed to split unit air conditioners and the sound that they make. 3. The pools are cleaned every day. This time of the year it is extremely dry and you can have leaves blowing into your pool after it has been cleaned. 4. The Villa attendant cleans your Villa and she can make you breakfast as was explained in your welcome letter. If you did not require the services of your Villa attendant all you had to do was ask for her not to be there and we would have been happy to take care of that for you. 5. The shower works perfectly in the Villa when I checked it. We checked our maintenance log and you did not complain about lack of water pressure at all. 6. We state clearly on all of our publication that we do not serve breakfast. The Villas come with a fully equipped kitchen and you could have solicited the assistance of your Villa attendant in fixing you breakfast as mentioned earlier. 7. Mosquitoes are around and with a good repellent spray they should not have posed too much problem. We are really saddened to note that you did not enjoy your stay with us and it is indeed a pity that you did not raise any of the issues with us during your stay. Beautical location and fabulous villa
A very beautiful and restful location and villa, decking and pool very good. It is on a very steep drive from the road and the hill has to be climbed for access to the beach and restaurants which are 15/20 minute walk away.

Very warm welcome from Lorraine who was attentive throughout our stay.She kindly offered to book restaraunts for us. The villa was delightful,in a very picturesque setting. Wonderful outside dining/entertainment area. Great housekeeping from Vernette.The restaurant food was excellent. Very peaceful spot.Bedrooms were large and very well appointed. Massive beds. Great a/c and ceiling fans. Large bathrooms/dressing rooms. Showers coukd do with updating and water pressure was a liitle weak. Very friendly staff. Would thoroughly recommend Stonehaven Villas. Can't wait to return!

A dream stay
We wanted a couple of days luxury after island hopping in the Caribbean and we couldn't have found a better place. High on the hill with a great view of the ocean our villa was surrounded by trees keeping it very private. The villa had everything you would need, even hummingbirds visiting the flowers on the terrace, and blue birds bathing in the infinity pool - beautiful! This villa would sleep and least 6, so would be perfect for a family, group of friends or just a couple. The villa's maid attends every day and would cook your meals for you or if like us you wanted privacy will leave you alone. A lovely romantic way to finish our 5 week holiday what's not the like?

Stayed with my wife on our honeymoon. We had a relaxed and rejuvenating stay. The property was wonderful. The management and housekeeping staff were delightful. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet vacation.

3 Bedroom well appointed ,lots of space, nice infinity pool. Good 5 hour maid service. Beautifully landscaped grounds. Balconies very nice. Kitchen fully equipped and up to date. Huge porch dining table for 8.Loits of closet space. Huge bathrooms with huge shower.

Jaw-Dropping
We were expecting a smartly furnished room with a deck, but instead we evidently booked a 2-story mansion all to ourselves! It had its own private infinity pool, a huge deck patio/deck area, the largest kitchen I've been inside in the last 11 years, and four-poster beds everywhere we couldn't decide which one to sleep in! Plus the view to the ocean is amazing! Next time I'll come with the whole family and it'll be ridiculously cheap!

Our villa was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The grounds/gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. Our attendant, the office/restaurant staff and the security personnel were all polite. We could not have asked for a more wonderful vacation at The Villas at Stone Haven-a home away from home. Paradise in Tobago” 5 of 5 starsReviewed 6 days ago NEW We stayed at the villas at Stonehaven and no one wanted to go home. We were on a windsurfing trip at Pigeon Point and fell in love with Tobago and the Villas. The villas are incredible, the outdoor living room, dining room and private infinity pool were all beautiful. The furnishings, well equipped kitchen, laundry, large bathrooms, linens, etc. were all fantastic. We had a rental car and shopped so we ate in all nights except for our arrival night when we ate at the restaurant. Our housekeeper was lovely, great advice about the island, she gave us shopping lists, and then prepared great local dishes for us. The villas are large, ours was actually four bedroom and four and 1/2 bath. The staff at the hotel is great. We were well cared for in this luxury home and its spoiled us for any other location. I can't wait to return.

Beautiful accommodations and surroundings.
We enjoyed staying at the villa. Staff was very attentive. The one drawback was the fact that only the bedrooms were air conditioned, not the remainder of the villa, and it was in the 90s and very humid. Internet was free, but did not work will in the villa, only at the main office.

This Place is Paradise!
After a long Business trip in Trinidad, a well deserved break was needed. I was recommended by plant managers and local people to stay at the Villas of Stonehaven instead of a hotel near the beach. I did not want the hotel experience since I have lived in a hotel for weeks. I needed to relax, sleep in if needed and have privacy. The Villa was well kept up and we had our own maid show up daily to help clean, do laundry, wash our dishes "If Needed." Very friendly and helpful for local information We like to clean up after ourselves but the service was great! We cooked on the BB-Q gas grill since I haven't been able to cook on one for weeks. The Villas had their recommended cab driver who would take you anywhere at a good rate. We went to the local grocery store and stocked up on misc. cooking items. We went down to the bar and restaurant one night to try it out. The food was good and the drinks were even better. The view from there was unbelievable! Villa we stayed in was beautiful and I just loved the huge size of it which may have been bigger than my own home back in the States. The pool was very clean and I loved the way it flowed over into the gutter to be cleaned through the pump system. The landscaping was especially great and we could not believe the size doves and humming birds. It is a MUST VISIT Place! The staff was very pleasant and I will be back!

Fantastic Villas
Stayed at Stonehaven Villas with 3 friends during early March 2014. Tobago island is wonderful and these villas a great. Great location (short walk to shops, restaurants, other hotels and beach), great view of the ocean from the villa, great size, great service at Reception, Bar and Villa Attendant, all topped with a private pool! Very large and can house much more than 4 people. Very good value for money and cannot think of any improvement opportunities. Fully recommended !!
