This is the place where family quality time, fun and memories will be made. This exceptional quality home is not your typical vacation rental but is a true home away from home. 4144 square foot, 3 level, custom built home will meet and exceed your expectations for a mountain vacation.The 6 mile hiking loop to the Upper and Lower Catawba Falls is now open and accessible from our community. The Space: This home is set up perfectly for extended families, 2-3 families or multiple couples to vacation together. ALL bedrooms are en-suite and have their own bathroom. There is a primary king primary bedroom suits on levels one along with a queen bedroom with a pocket door to a full bathroom. Level two has two king suites - both with king beds. Bedroom 3 on the upper level is an en-suite with a king bed and a bathroom with a tub/shower. This suite has an office with a day bed with a trundle and a great mountain view. Bedroom 4 on the upper level has a king bed with double sinks and a walk in shower. Bedroom 5 and 6 en-suites on the lower level both have king beds with a tub/shower combo. The home can accommodate 14 comfortably in beds. All the bedrooms as well as the great room have Smart TV's to connect to your favorite streaming apps. We have HI SPEED WIFI internet that is able to handle any needs including streaming movies, downloading, zooming, etc. The game room has foosball and air hockey as well as a TV. There is a movie room on the lower level. Bring your Tesla or EV with Tesla adapter. We have a Tesla charger for your use. The property is very quiet, peaceful and private and sits on 3 acres with breathtaking views all around. The large front deck and covered patio have rocking chairs to relax and enjoy the views. The large back deck is perfect for entertaining with a charcoal BBQ, large table with seating for 8 and cozy outdoor furniture in the covered section. The amazing outdoor spaces are the place for relaxing and watching the sunrise and sunset. Enjoy the mountain views and listen to the sounds of the forest below. For nature lovers, there is hiking, waterfalls and abundant wildlife in the Preserve. Our community has miles of hiking trails along the pristine streams and rivers with waterfalls that adjoins the Pisgah National Forest. Enjoy a really unique getaway. You will feel away from it all yet you will be only 15 minutes (8 miles) to Black Mountain and 30 minutes (23 miles) to Asheville, NC. The home and kitchen are very well stocked with all your basic supplies needed for your vacation week. There is a microwave, toaster and air fryer, regular drip coffee maker, Keurig, hot water kettle, crock pot. The beds are all made up prior to your arrival and we provide towels and linens. We take cleaning our house very seriously. We have instructed our crew on the latest recommendations such as using the highest heat setting for washing linens and towels, airing out the cabin during cleanings, disinfecting all surfaces including counters, door knobs, light switches, remotes, railings, etc. We keep our availability calendar up to date. Please check our calendar before inquiring about availability. We usually respond to all email inquiries right away or within a few hours. We have a 3 night minimum requirement in the off season (Sept, Nov-May excluding holidays and spring break) and a 4-7 night minimum in season (Memorial Day through Labor Day and October) and all holidays and spring break. Please do not inquire for less than 3 nights. Pet Policy: We allow up to 2 well behaved and housebroken dogs with prior approval and paid pet rent fee of $150\. Please let us know the breed, weight and age of your dog(s) for approval. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and flea and tick medications prior to arrival. We are all from Atlanta and were very worried about the predicted direct hit to the metro Atlanta region. We were also a little worried about what would eventually make it to Western NC. We worked with the owners to find a new weekend in December and hoped for the best. The owners were amazing helping us to make this change and as we all know now, the hurricane hit to NC was devastating. Our trip was perfect. We were able to hike and eat and shop in downtown Black Mountain. The region is still suffering and slowly coming back online. However, my recommendation is go to this beautiful part of the country and spend your money. The house was beautiful and perfect for 5 couples to have equal amenities. The home was spacious, extremely clean, and the views of the mountains from the deck was a favorite hang out. The hot tub and media room were a plus, as well. The kitchen has everything you need and I like how each bedroom has its own bathroom. There is nothing but positive to say about this home. This was our first away from home holiday vacation and it was perfect! Weather was quite cold the first few days but there is so much to do inside that no one cared. Loved the game room and movie theater. Michael was always available for communication. We have stayed in many vacation rentals, and this one was by far the best. The home was immaculately clean when we arrived and we experienced no issues at all while there. The beds were very comfortable and all the furnishings, decor, and kitchen were great. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The communication from the host Michael was outstanding. He was very helpful in making recommendations in the area as well as the trails. The hike down to the upper Catawba Falls was the highlight of the trip. If you are looking for a first class, easy vacation rental look no further. The hosts have truly thought of every detail. We cannot wait to stay here again in the future. ##### Max K. Gorgeous views, spacious home with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our extended family of 11\. Very safe for our 3 toddlers, with a door to the downstairs level and fully protected outdoor space. When we accidentally broke the coffee carafe, they gave us a replacement within 15 minutes! Movie room was a bonus, the laundry room had full size washer and dryer and Wi-Fi worked well. A few quirks…most of the showers were quite small, the trundle bed alcove upstairs (where a toddler slept) had no window coverings and the electrical kept tripping so we had to reset the breaker multiple times. Only two very minor issues- the tv in downstairs bedroom 3 wasn’t working properly. Hooked up to Dish but it wouldn’t come on nor would it allow our teen to stream. And the water just wasn’t very hot most of the time at bath/shower time. But everything else was spot on! What a memorable and perfect time our family had. The only negative thing I can say is that we had to leave! Beautiful brand new home in a very peaceful and private setting, located in a gated preserve community with awesome hiking trails and waterfalls - nature at its best. The homeowners, Michael and Bernadette have thought of everything to make this the most stress free and easy vacation. Communication was great and you can tell they really care about their guests' well being. The kitchen was by far the best equipped kitchen and stocked cabin of any rental we have ever stayed at, right down to the spices, oils appliances, etc.... The house was incredibly clean and comfortable. It even smells brand new! Outdoor spaces were fabulous with comfy furniture to overlook the mountains both in the front and back of the property. Plenty of room with 6 en-suites and multiple outdoor places to escape or gather. Many fun nights were spent around the outdoor fire pit, game room, movie theater.
