After seeing previous reviews, they made a great effort to correct the mentioned discrepancies. House was very clean and comfortable. Spent the majority of the time outdoors which was fantastic. A couple of things to be aware of: beds are on the small size for queens and there is a healthy growth of poison ivy around the property. If you have pup(s) that like to do a bit sniffing, it could transfer to you. Some may find the roads to it as intimidating and rough, I chose to enjoy the exhilarating ride and beauty of the area. The kitchen was well equipped but the fridge did take a long while to cool down however and the quilt on the master suite bed smelled like Ben-Gay, assuming the last renter wore it and it wasnt washed. Property description should note that an SUV is necessary to travel the roads. I know the area has been through a lot, but a warning would be great. It is a bit far from a grocery store, so the snacks that were generously provided were a treat on my first night. The area was heavily effected by Hurricane Helene, so it's humbling to see all of the damage against the backdrop of these beautiful mountains. Black mountain was about 35 minutes away, it's a nice drive and plenty to do once you are there. My time at Morning Glory was just the recharge I was hoping for. I would absolutely return for another long weekend. Thank you for the hospitality! Side note: The road getting to the cabin was a bit difficult to drive on.
